Would recommend this hotel as is quite central and it's very clean, also the coffee and nibbles in reception are a very nice touch. One little thing is that you can hear the Metro so ask to stay on the second or third floor but it's not really to much of a problem. Breakfast is good as well, you will...

I was so positively impressed by Hotel Lorette! the staff is kind and always helpful, the hall very luminous and spacious and well served with a rich open bar till night..perfect place for relax and stay! Rooms are also quite big for Parisian standard, functional and well curated. Even if is above the underground ( which by the way makes...

Wanted a reasonably priced hotel in a fairly central location for the weekend, and this fitted the bill perfectly! Located in a pleasant safe quarter between Pigalle and Opéra, almost across the road from the nearest Metro station Saint Georges, it is about 10/15 mins by train/car or a half hour walk from the centre of the city. Rooms are...

When we checked in the girl at the desk only confirmed my ID& credit card...no mention of any facilities or details regarding amenities, I had to ask her about wifi/breakfast/mini-bar. The room was unbearably hot, at least 30°C / 83°F...we had to leave our window, which overlooked a very noisy street, open in order to be inside the room or...

We stayed for 6 nights here and it was a really great experience. Room was really neat and bright, in a really comfortable area. So close to metro and therefore everything (its almost across the road). Really good service and lovely breaky if you decide to eat at the hotel.

It was my first time to Paris alone and I was staying at this hotel for a full week. Firstly mini bar items are free. No liquor in the mini bar and that's good. As you enter the hotel it has to be opened by the front desk which is good and important due to security so meaning no Non-registered...

Thank you to the staff at this beautifully designed hotel for making my partner and I's stay so special! Friendly and welcoming atmosphere, plentiful and delicious breakfast and afternoon snacks, and excellent restaurant recommendations (Caffè Jardin. The best snails and traditional beef stew!) We recently got engaged and they certainly pulled out all the stops for us. We really appreciated...

Great choice, St George's Metro 2 minute walk. Nice quiet safe area. Park across the road. Free mini bar. Free afternoon tea. Breakfast downstairs in the cellar, you can hear the trains go past underground. Breakfast great, plenty of choice. Beds comfortable. No restaurant for dinner but plenty to choose from within a 5 minute walk.

For the first time I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel in Paris. First of all, it is located conveniently close to the metro station Saint George (Line 12). Moreover, the area of 9th arrondissement of Paris is a very charming place, in walking distance from Opéra, on one hand, and Sacré Cœur, on the other hand. Secondly, the hotel...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
