From the time we checked in to the time we left, the staff at the hotel were surprisingly helpful. They called and made dinner reservations for us at a restaurant we selected. When we missed breakfast in the hotel the next day, the staff called the cafe around the corner to ask if it was okay for us to get...

There was nothing about Trois Poussins that my husband and I disliked, but then again, there was nothing we really liked, either. The staff is friendly, the room was fairly clean, and the breakfast was an average continental breakfast. If you can find a good deal on one of the budget hotel webpages (expedia or [---------], for instance), Trois Poussins...

I stayed there for business for a week and had a very pleasant stay. We had to drive to work every day so it was very convenient to have a car park opposite the hotel, even though they charge a fortune and it gets full after 8pm. The rooms were very clean, newly decorated and some have a little kitchen....

Located only two blocks from the St Georges Metro stop, it was easy to get anywhere in Paris. The room was VERY tiny. I would've thought it was a European thing, but the rest of the places we stayed were not that small. It is however clean and updated. There is a very cute breakfast room and patio. But breakfast...

Stayed two nights at Les Trois Poussins, based on reviews on this site.....a delightful little hotel and a non-touristy area - the nearby Rue des Martyrs has a huge selection of food and normal neighbourhood shops...as the other reviews say - this environment is very typical of the local "village" type feel that makes it possible to live in Paris...

Recently returned from a 2-night stay in Les 3 Poussins. Very friendly and helpful staff, all seemingly with perfect English. The room was ok - nothing special, but great for the relatively modest price. The hotel has a nice, if small, courtyard where you can have breakfast in the summer. The hotel is just round the corner from a very...

This is clean and quiet boutique style hotel in a very convenient location. It is well-priced and clean within easy access of the metro. The staff are friendly and helpful and are fluent in English. Well placed for local restaurants and coffee shops.

I spent a fair bit of time looking at reviews of hotels before confirming my booking at Les Trois Poussins. It is exactly as it looks in the photos and the reviews certainly give a good impression - I was not disappointed when I arrived. The rooms are small, but this is to be expected of any Paris hotel. The...

My wife and I took our 16 year old niece to Paris for the first time for three days last week -19th to 21st April. We booked online through Eurostar website having consulted Tripadvisor and found previous reviews very accurate. We had room 601 at the very top with the clear view of Sacre Coeur. Very clean room and loads...

We stayed for a long weekend in March 2006. The hotel is in a quite area, but as you are close to the Metro all areas of Paris are in easy reach and if you feel energetic the centre of Paris is not too far to walk to. The hotel is pleasantly decorated and the staff are very helpful. We...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
