The hotel was in a very good location with just subway underneath and train station is at the opposite. There are lots of shops and restaurants near by. The hotel room was tidy and spacious, the only point that cause the mark deducted is the air-conditioner of the room (I was staying on the 6th floor), whenever the air-conditioner is...

The hotel is a budget one - and at the same time - all You need, if you came to enjoy Paris, and not the hotel: clean, spacious room, which, by the way isn't noisy (we had windows just on the railway station). Moderate breakfast - but enough for anyone to start the day. Plenty of restaurants near - we...

My son and I visited Paris for a no frills short break to see the sights. This hotel was in a very good location allowing us to walk everywhere. It was clean, comfortable and reasonable value for it's city centre location. Staff helpful but not intrusive. Breakfast was included and, although a bit limited in choice, was plentiful. We stayed...

I recently stayed in this small 3 star hotel for a few nights. The metro St. Lazare is a few steps away from the main door. The hotel is clean, and has a lift. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was good for Opera, the big stores and within walking distance of Champs Elysees. Rooms were clean and we were...

Clean, central hotel. Nice lobby but small. The room was clean, spacious with good bathroom. The hotel is central next to train and busses. Good all around hotel for visiting Paris. The breakfast was nice, with small breakfast room though. Staff was friendly but if you spoke French they would be really lovely.

Excellent place to stay for a short stay in Paris. The location is incredibly convenient, with St. Lazare train/metro station right in front of the hotel and numerous bus lines a short walk away, even the CDG airport shuttle. The room itself was basic but it comes with all the necessary amenities, and if you need something extra, there are...

The location of this hotel is it's main selling point, slap bang in the centre, you can get to all major attractions easily and there are some bars and restaurants around. rooms, are clean, more spacious than I anticipated and well laid out. I was at the front of the hotel which faces the road, I love this as I...

I stayed here in December for a business meeting. I did not use the dining room as we ate out on the two evenings. The room was small but adequate if not rather basic. The hotel was overall acceptable and somewhere that would be good for a short stay in central Paris. The really good thing about this hotel is...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
