The location of the hotel, near St. Sulpice and St. Germain des Pres. The rooms are small but comfy. The only drawback was that we were in a room at the front, on the street and it was quite noisy at night. Request a room away from the street. The staff was super friendly and helpful in locating a laundry... More

The location of this hotel is perfect if you want to be on the left bank near St Germain des Pres. You can walk to the Musee d'Orsay or across the river to Notre Dame or the Louvre and it's in a beautiful area of squares and elegant shops. It's situated in a beautiful town house and the small rooms... More

Old style but well kept and clean! Don't expect fancy gadgets or top notch air con etc. but perfectly comfy and friendly . Breakfast was fine, but nothing special. Great location just around the corner from st sulpice, with nice bars near by

This is the second time we come back, and it's still as lovely as the last time 4 years ago. The rooms are of good sizes considering the location in Paris. Not many staff but always friendly ones and ready to give good addresses for restaurants around. The courtyard is of course the highlight of the hotel, you would feel... More

Best things about this quaint hotel: the supremely friendly, helpful staff was responsive to our needs and requests; brought a fan at once when the a/c was broken upon arrival & shared a great phone app to help us navigate. The very comfortable beds for both my husband and I, even with our divergent sleeping needs. Nicely updated bathroom, quiet... More

We stayed here for one week. Great central location, friendly staff, very quaint and quiet. We had a room that overlooked the central garden. A/C worked well, but we could open windows when we wanted. Lovely common room where one could sit and read or enjoy a cocktail from the 'honour bar'. I agree with Linda F's comment about the... This is a quaint hotel in a great location. We stayed in their triple deluxe room which had a lovely outlook over the central courtyard. The rooms are pretty basic there are no fridges or kettles supplied in the room, but the beds are big and comfortable. We needed a kettle for our newborns bottle and the hotel was able... More

We quite enjoyed our stay in the hotel however not sure its so well maintained. The elevator broke down twice while we were there and once with us and another couple on board. Dear Linda F, In order to ensure the best safety and security at the hotel we work with the best suppliers. Schindler, the international group in charge of the elevators intervened the night before your check-out. Clearly, they did not do a good job. As the elevator failed to perform, we acted immediately to arrange the situation. That same day,... More

Simple but charming and quiet. Pleasant concierge , centrally located and reasonable. Ideal for those who respect bring quiet. Most rooms look into a small courtyard avery, which is charming but carries every sound if not careful ;) Situated right behind the magnificent architecture of Saint Sulpice church. Simple Buffet breakfast included?excellent rates too in comparison.

This is a small hotel in one of the best neighborhoods in Paris. Easy walking to wonderful restaurants, shops, and museums. Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
