I arrived quite late after an evening train ride from London via Eurostar. My room 106 was incredibly spacious but needed some small work like a lick of paint in some areas but very big space compared to an average Paris hotel room. Unfortunately, my only negative of the trip was a bunch of zoo animals being placed in the next room and disturbing my sleep at nearly 2am in the morning. This was not okay as I was up at 5am for my transport back to London. I let the staff know but not sure if anything was done. Apart from that little hiccup, the trip went well and the location is perfect if you wish to be close to the main transport hubs.
Checked in for 3 nights March thru April 1 2022. I arrived early from a long-haul flight and was hoping for an early check-in and luckily, after only an hour, they took care of me √√ The front desk team were very friendly, very professional and a delight to deal with √√ The hotel was very easy to find, a simple walk from Gare du Nord √√ The location is absolutely brilliant. Directly opposite the Gare de l'Est train station. All around are plenty of cafe's and shops, fast-food chains if you want that and easy walking access to plenty of sites around the area. Ans a Metro station right at the doorstep, literally √√ The hotel appeared to be recently refurbished and they have done an exceptional job. My room was on the back side. It was a good size by Paris standards, nicely appointed, very comfy bed, good size bathroom with great water pressure and hot water was plentiful. And great room lighting√√. The hotel features a modern, fresh new design and it was a pleasure to stay. I have never seen so many power outlets in a hotel room. Excellent, especially the outlets bedside√√ The wifi was super fast √√ One of the best features for me though was the opening doors onto the outside allowing an abundance of fresh cool air to come in to the room. I can't stand hot, stuffy European hotel rooms so this was an absolute paradise for me in that respect. Fresh cool natural air √√ I live in hotels again ( now that all the nonsense of the past 2 years is toning down ) and this hotel exceeded my Paris expectations. The team were amazing, nothing was a problem for them. I have never seen such a busy reception, constantly guests were coming and going, but from my observations, they handled it all with with aplomb.√√ There was one strange thing, almost weird thing, about the room. The toilet in the bathroom was mounted on the wall quite high up. I am around 6 feet tall and when seated doing my business, my feet barely touched the floor. It wasn't a big issue, I just found it quite strange. The health experts say the lower to the floor a toilet is situated, the better for your well-being if you know what I mean. I would stay in this hotel again in a heartbeat and as a regular traveler passing through Paris, It will be the first hotel I look at for my stays. The pricing is very reasonable. I find Paris hotels can be ridiculously expensive and over-the-top for what you get. But not here. It represents very good value for money. √√ In summary, a really great location, very, very comfortable, very friendly staff and represents one of the bast value for money hotels in Paris ( in my opinion ) √√√√…
Great Hotel, Great Location Immaculate clean. Near the main train station from the Airport. Gard nord and in the Gard de Lest Area. Metro line 4 for most destinations is outside hotel. Hotel has a bar and great breakfast. Short walk to some shops.
Room not to usual holiday inn standard. Carpet smelt damp and was stained. Very small too for a double room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was delivered from brasserie on the corner and very tasty.
The hotel is beautiful with great super clean rooms & amenities. The staff are very friendly & extremely helpful & accommodating they catered to our every need. Fantastic location just in front of a metro station. Honorable mention to ANAIS F.O Manager who went the extra mile to make our short stay a special one. Many thanks to everybody in this hotel who made our trip unforgettable. We will definitively be back in the near future. Joanna :)
We stayed for a night after arriving late in Paris by train. The hotel staff were very helpful, and the rooms small but clean. Breakfast was also simple, but sufficient, and very well priced (€15). The area is quite run down but the hotel is well-located for Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord.
On 29.12.21 my partner (Mark E Lewis) and I ran in to a bit of trouble regarding testing we needed to fly to visit my partners ill mother. Dylan and Habte, who advised us at first- upon learning that the laboratories had been extremely unhelpful and that the pharmacy had given us incorrect information- went above and beyond. After their late shifts, when they could have gone home. They insisted on extending their already long nights and helped us contact 6 pharmacies/testing centers and went with us to the three that said they could help. Refusing to abandon us until the mattere was 100% settled and we were okay to go. Because of their kindness and care, we were able to get the testing done at the third center we visited that day. We are forever grateful to these two gentlemen, who went beyond the call of duty to help us…
Great location, easy to find, the pharmacy around the corner did covid test and received the results in 30 min. There was only 1 thing that needed changing, There was no soap bar, only the liquid soap which was suppose to be used for both hair and body. No conditioner. The staff were very nice and helpful.
This is a nice hotel in Paris near Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord with an amazing view of Paris from the suite small balcony on the seven floor. Full recognition of my platinum IHG membership when giving me their most beautiful suite. It's a 2 minutes walk to Gare de l'Est and 10 minutes walk to Gare du Nord where I returned my rented car. Metro station is just outside the hotel where you can reach center of Paris easily and fast. The only downside is that they don't have a parking even for few minutes to drop my luggage. And that was annoying when having a rented car. Big thank you to all the staff who made my stay a beautiful one. When I return to Paris with my family, it will be my first choice for sure.
The hotel is clean and fresh. The breakfast was good and well laid out, although it did get quite warm in the breakfast area. The room was on the front, noisy if you opened any windows but Magee to stay bearable despite the traffic with the windows shut. The bathroom was functional, clean and had all we needed. The only downside was parking and paying for ticket, was misdirected by the hotel staff that wanted about 30 mins when trying to pay for the car that was parked u see the train station. In all, would stay again.
