i stayed in this horrible hotel for 6 nights ! , i checked-in around 11 pm on Sunday, i was booking a single room , i always stay in Accor Series for the past 15 years , and i never saw this bad customer services and uncaring attitude in any accor hotel before , i went to my room and i found it very cold while i was really tired , and the air-conditioning was not working properly in addition to the bad design of the room ( the air condition are above the Bed ) , i went to the reception guy and informed him about my issue - He told me yes , we have an issue in the air condition and will be fixed tomorrow by the technician - i asked him so please change my room as i'll not be able to sleep in this very cold weather - he told me sorry , you have booked a single room and all the available now are double rooms , and you have to pay the difference to change for it for you - i told him it is not my problem , it is yours , i need to sleep and i cannot afford your issues - he told me sorry , i'm a new employee in this hotel and cannot take any wrong decision , and afraid to lose my job !!!! i had to go back to sleep as i was really tired , and the next day i became badly Sick !! in the start of my business week , and actually i'm badly sick till this moment the next day , i met the same Reception Guy and his Manager who apologized for this weird attitude and promised to compensate me with some reward Points ! and they added an external Heater in My room ! overall , i'm very very disappointed from this hotel and i don't recommend it to any body…
Nicely located across from gare de l'est. Despite the seedy neighborhood, the hotel feels safe and quiet all things considered. Regretfully no Gold card benefits were available during my stay (no complimentary drink, was not allowed to check out one hour later), but the staff was polite as usual.
Its been a couple of years since our last stay in this Ibis and there has been little or no change apart from the reception area becoming more open. The staff are helpful, the hotel is in a great location between the train stations of Nord and Est as it was off the Eurostar and onto a train to Germany the following morning. The room was clean and tidy and the breakfast 'bob on'. As there are no kettles in Ibis hotel the first task is to plug in the travel kettle and make a brew. How people survive without a brew first thing is a mystery (take your own cups as well). The only downside with the room was that it was at the front (no problem with that) but outside the window is the local bus terminus which runs, its seems, 24 hr a day hence even in the late hours constant noise even with the window shut: not sure what the solution is to that problem. There more than sufficient restaurants and supermarkets in the area and places to visit and at the time of writing strict rules over the wearing of masks in public were being implemented. Ask the hotel staff for a more update information about this; as the rules in Paris seem to change daily. A nice one night stop over, in a good hotel, in a good location and with good staff who we promoted to the rank of Captain for their service. Bon journey…
Stayed 4 nights there. The room was pretty small, but it's good enough if you only plan to sleep there. Everything was super clean. They did not clean the room each day because of COVID-19. A safe, a television and a small air conditioning are available in the room. The staff in the evening is very nice. The breakfast has fruits, bread, croissant, pain au chocolat, yogurt, cheese, jam, coffee and fresh orange juice. It's normally an all-you-can-eat buffet, but because of COVID-19, you had to pre-order in the evening your food. The next morning, you go downstairs to pick your food and eat it in your room. Not so fun, but what can you do. Breakfast was €12 per person, per day. Maybe not so much worth it but saves you the hassle of having to eat somewhere in the morning. Our room gave to the back of the building. No view, but no noise as well so pretty good.…
I arrived late at the hotel and was stuck in a windowless bunker on the ground floor: no windows, dark place. For the price you pay for a room (even if it's Paris)...I cannot imagine being a happy customer with such an arrangement.
Easy walk with rucksacks from Gard du Nord as we were going out of Gard du L’Est. Comfortable room. Plentiful breakfast. Friendly staff. Good location - we walked to Sacre Coeur in the evening. All good.
I stayed at ibis hotel with my wife for 2 nights. We were given a room on the 2nd floor not to big but good for 2 people to stay. The staff were all helpfull . The breakfast was very good and the location of the hotel was very good being near gare del est. The only thing that i found uncomfortable was the elevatorwhich was small compared to others, and way to slow. Offcourse at night all must be carefull especialy aroind Gare del est but pne has to be always on alert and carefull especially on big cities and near train stations.Other than that i had a very good stay and in the future i will stay again in the same hotel.
The location is good but not great, because you have to take the metro or drag your suitcases on a 10 minute walk to gare du nord (not the nearby gar de l'est) to reach the airport. Given this, this clean but quite small room wasn't a great choice. The curtain is thin and the street quite bright, flooding the room with light. The soundproofing is not great either, so with the noise from the street, both earplugs and eye covers were required.
A pretty decent hotel, with access to the metro and train stations within a short walking distance. Our excellent receptionist Elias made our welcome really fun and easy. (Although some others on the staff were not so helpful.) Sadly, only boiled eggs are served at breakfast, maybe a bit more variety? ;)
The hotel is right across from train and metro station. Easy 5 minute walk from station even if u have luggage. 5 minute walk to go inside station to take RER to city of Reims plus lots of cool stores to check out and eateries. Metro stop practically outside the door, we took it to go to Versailles red line to St Denis-Strasbourg , purple line to Invalides the RER C to Versailles Rive Gauge. Clean room, elevator, great breakfast, friendly attendants. A little bit noisy outside until 3am
