We used Booking.com and it cost 120Euros for a 2 night stay in the 'comfort room' The location was ideal for exploring Paris. Situated 2 minutes walk from Pigalle metro stop (Blue line) LMD was an easy hotel to access the main sites to see in centre Paris. It was also in close proximity to the Moulin Rouge theatre. However,...

The Libertel Duperre is a decent budget alternative in a pricey city. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and approachable at any time. The breakfast was functional but there are lots of alternatives close by. The area doesn't look the best but is pretty safe and quiet. The hotel is close to the metro and...

the hotel was very nice, great area, close to subway stations, the staff was very nice, the room (although rather small, which is not suprising in this price range) was very clean and pleasant. Would definitely recommend it further. We stayed in the superior room however, not the standard.

Enjoyed 5 nights in late October , in a cheaper (and yet-to-be renovated) 'Classic' room. As others have said: small rooms, nice decor, relatively quiet side-street, cordial staff, ensuite BR needs serious deep-cleaning, etc. In terms of cost/value, I feel we did fine at (82 euros) compared to other choices, and very convenient location in a part of town we...

We could hear a woman having sex through the thin walls nextdoor and had to wonder if she was one of the prostitutes working down the block or at one of the nearby peep shows. Gruff staff. They claim to have free wifi, but we sure couldn't get it to work. The one nice thing is that they have windows...

Stayed just for 2 nights and do not have a bad word to say about this hotel. It is very basic, but we paid just £45 per night on hotels.co.uk so did not expect anything fancy anyway. It is in an interesting area in Montmartre, right in the red light district, over the road from the Moulin Rouge, and down...

This hotel is a perfectly acceptable place to relax and feel comfortable. My girlfriend and I like well cleaned places, and this was perfectly acceptable, however, there was some mould around the shower and sink, and the metal pole holding the shower head came off in our hands when we tried to adjust it. In addition, the window handle was...

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were looking for an inexpensive but clean place to stay and this hit the nail on the head. We booked a comfort room and I would highly recommend it. The room and bathroom were both tiny but modern and obviously had recently been redone. Plus, size didn't matter much. I mean, you're...

I took my partner to Paris for his birthday and was looking for somewhere nice but cheap to stay - I had read that the Comfort rooms were a better option and so paid the extra to upgrade booking direct with the hotel under a special offer (about $180 for 3 nights same as other roombooker websites)- although very small...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
