Rooms are always immaculate, as are corridors and stairs. Reception area recently renovated. This is a French hotel, so if what you want are large american style rooms, this is not the place is not the place for you. But theneighborhood is great, lots of reataurants close to the hotel, public transport excellent and close. You are quite close to...

Really great hotel Great staff, clean and perfect location. As I am writing this review, the lady on reception called to say that we had left and iPad in the room how honest is that!! Frankly, when travelling this is exactly what you need...a warm glow, like home! Restaurant suggestions le parc aux cerfs just round the corner, truly brilliant...

I have stayed at the Raspail Hotel every time I am in Paris - why....because it is simply sensational! The guest comes first and foremost - firstly, after booking you are sent a short survey to complete, asking you to detail anything you may be interested in from theatre to fine food to tourism. The hotel then assists you with...

I stayed here for a business trip and found the hotel and room quite quaint but suitable for a short stay and I wasn't around much during the day and evening. There is a view of the Eiffel Tower in a distance but this was the only thing that I saw that made me realise I was in Paris. If...

This hotel was chosen based on the positive reviews from trip advisor members and it lived up to those reviews. Our room was clean, roomy enough for us and the reception staff very very helpful. Our advice if you choose this hotel is to purchase a multi day metro ticket for getting around to all the must see attractions in...

A good deal for business travellers. Nice rooms, nice people, good location. Stayed there couple of times, every time is a good experience. Comparing to prices of hotels loke this one in Paris, it's not that expensive also.

Beautiful hotel in Art Deco style located in the heart of Montparnasse in Paris. Would highly recommend their generous breakfast that can be served in your room. The staff is also very helpful, and there are some great restaurants located in the vicinity.

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your very positive comments about our hotel. I am particularly touched by the title of your comment and its relation to the Art Deco period. We work hard to try and maintain this specific character in our estabishement and I am glad that you appreciate the result of our efforts. We hope to...

We began staying at the Raspail 13 years ago because we had friends whose apartment at the time was directly across the street. And it had the advantages of close proximity to two Metro stations and the Gare Montparnasse, which allowed us to unload luggage and take the car immediately to the rental car returns at the station. But even...

I was delighted with my stay here. This small hotel has a a lot of nice touches about it. An email to welcome you before you arrive and one to welcome you the day after. Provided an adaptor plug as standard on request for free and an extensive reasonably priced minibar in each room. The rooms are all individually named...

Hello, Sir I am so glad you enjoyed your recent stay with us and I am particularly pleased that you felt great about staying with Van Gogh. You may perhaps, on your next visit, decide to stay with Cocteau, name given to one of our "Superior" rooms, on the fifth floor, overlooking the corner of the boulevards Raspail and du...

We stayed there over 3 Nights. Rooms are small and crowded, not so clean as it should be. The Bath wasn't clean, there was only one toilet paper roll. The bed sheets weren't changed on a daily basis. Breakfast was nice. The stuff in the reception are very nice and helpful.

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing on Trip Advisor about our hotel which proved to be a disappointement for you, much to our regret. We think that it is very necessary for us to inform you that, since 2014, the date when you stayed with us, our hotel has been fully renovated and is now hopefully more in line with...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
