This is wonderful old classic hotel in the centre of city. The room was self contained and clean. The breakfast was excellent. The staff are extremely helpful. I wish to stay in this hotel again soon.

Overall, the location is good and very safe. Plenty of good restaurants around. Walking distance to many attractions. Good value. Homey feel. Friendly staff and plentiful breakfast. Clean rooms, but don't expect a lot of space. Bathrooms need some work, but overall clean.

Great value hotel in a good location. Away from the main busy areas but next to station. Dated decor but otherwise all good, good size clean room and good service. Would recommend to anyone staying in Paris

I think this hotel awarded themselves the 4 stars they show on their listing! TINY room, TINY lift which did not want to work with 2 people and 2 suitcases. 1 person had to get out and only then it would work! We arrived quite late in the evening and were craving a cup of tea. Only 2 bags of...

Dear guest, You were not satisfied, we apologize. The renovation will be done this year. We are rated 4 stars by the public tourist board Atout France, like all the hotels in France. Do you seriously believe that we can rate the hotel ourselves ? In all rooms you find tee and coffee facilities free of charge, refilled every day...

We went into this knowing little about this part of Paris. Hotel is in a residential area away from tourism and we had dinner at a very nice casual local restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the amenities at the hotel and will definitely return

Friendly staff. Rooms tiny (supposed to be a premium room). Insufficient lighting and very small closet space. Bed perfect. Breakfast with very limited choice. Housekeeping very good. Clean sheets and towels every day. No restaurant in hotel but enough choices close by.

End of January I booked 2 nights at the Villa Eugenie as a base to see the sights in Paris. I don't know Paris at all so was unsure as to the convenience of the location. It turned out to be less than a 10 minute walk to the metro so from that point of view it was fine. There...

Good points: The receptionists were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The villa is close to bus stops, and a rail station serving the outer suburbs and into central Paris. The decor is pleasing. There is a self-serve, continental breakfast. The room temperature can be controlled, and if you want it hot, you can have it hot. The WiFi worked well,...

Dear guest, Thank you for this long review. Please accept our apologies about the mentionned issues. We try to offer competitive rates, and actually the price 70gbp seems right for a standard room in low season. Renovation will start shortly, we hope to see you again here. Truly yours

If I had to summarize my stay at the Villa Eugenie in two words, it would be "good enough." Booked this hotel through Expedia; I got an unbelievable deal on the flight and airfare to Paris. I quickly learned on arrival that I got what I paid for. The hotel is clean enough. It's old and tired. The carpet needs...
