So we were in Paris for one night and chose this hotel because of its location and it's misleading online photos. Upon arrival, the dilapidated exterior scared us, but it was around 2 am so we had to make do. The room seemed fine and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Then I started unpacking and when I looked... More

This was a lovely hotel, our room was very comfy and couldn't complain about it at all. It was very close to the main areas to see and if you want to go shopping you don't have far to walk with all those bags. The staff could not have being more helpful, anything the asked they did their best to... More

the hotel is right in the centre of the up market retail outlets. if this is what you like then its the place for you but, if you would like a small sample of the true Parisian nigtlife then stay elsewhere. it is not particularly cheap and if you want a second tea bag €1.50 from housekeeping is a bit... I stayed there for a business trip, two nights in total. The hotel is well located, but that is all. It is shabby and old, and honors the classic French four stars (two or three in other country). Old worn and smelly carpets and furniture. Breakfast is expensive and limited to industrial products: coffee machines with powder milk, croissant you... More

I've been coming to Paris on Business for years now, sometimes I come for 2 weeks at a time, 4 times a year. The past 2 times, I've been at Castiglione and I've thoroughly enjoyed it. I will continue to return. The rooms are clean and comfortable and by Paris standards, pretty well sized. I find the staff extremely helpful... More

Friendly staff, Excellent location, good housekeeping, but little expensive. No shuttle bus to the airport as mentioned in the hotel web, and the doors sometime are not closed well. But it is good place to accommodate

Actually it is not a 4-star hotel. The room was small and old fashioned, unfotunatly it was bad smelling. The bathroom was ok. The breakfast was disapponting. The location was good, but after being in paris I prefered to accomodate some where near opera metro station. The nearest metro stations were madeleine (M8&M12) and concord (M8&M12&M1) takes about 4 minutes... More

We stayed in this hotel due to its great location near many tourist sites in downtown Paris. The location is more of a business district. However it is within walking distance to many great tourist sites. The breakfast is fine with great fruit and assortment of other items. There is no restaurant just the breakfast area.We stayed on 2nd floor... More

For our recent European trip, we chose Hotel de Castiglione as our lodging site for the time we were in Paris. It was an ideal location. Well within walking distance of most of the sites we were interested in visiting. With the exception of one brusque and rude desk attendant we found the staff of Hotel de Castiglione to be... More

About the only good thing about this hotel is its location and affordable price - but the latter comes with a cost. Day 1: Check in, discover the door to my room doesn't lock. Day 2: Call the concierge to for an iron to iron my shirt for the upcoming wedding ceremony. Get an iron that has residue on it... More
