First time in Paris and the hotel definitely made it more memorable. Excellent front desk, many thanks to Steve and to the wonderfull lady who check us out seamlessly and called a taxi for us. Perfect location for the the sights to see. You can walk to the Eiffel Tower and the Sacre Coeur Basilica. Champs Elysee is just a 12 minute walk. Breakfast was great. Special thanks to Michael who gave us excellent service. Definitely will come back.
I lived in Paris for four month with my girlfriend and we know Paris very well - therefor I can say, that the location of this hotel is just perfect! You can easily walk to every Landmark. The room was not only clean and well furnished but also super Good sized and comfortable. Definitely a recommendation! 😊👍🏽
Mistakes can happen, things can get forgotten- the question stays how the hotel is dealing with it. In this hotel was the reaction miserable. We had no duvet so we got one from the reception but no cover for it. Because the housekeeping crew was already off from work. So we needed to carry the duvet without a cover by ourselves upstairs. - NOWAY 4 STAR HOTEL! The next day nobody cares about it and when i told the reception manager what happened she was not professional at all and assumed me i would lie! It was very unhygienic to sleep there. . The bed was very uncomfortable, you can feel the feathers very good on your back. And the towels are very old, they should be replaced So a advice from me to the hotel : when you want to be professional you should fire the one with the ruff and the women who is reception manager. The rest was fine but those two made the stay very uncomfortable.…
Everything was excellent, but most of all mr mamadou was amazing and willing to help us in every demand! The hotel was near the center of the city and it also had a variety choices for breakfast. Finally the room was very clean and well decorated
I stayed here for work because I wanted a nice, safe, full-service hotel. I am a long-term IHG customer. When I arrived from the airport, I saw it was in a rather seedy area, and there was only one staff member on duty. (another one turned up a bit later but that may have just been a replacement). There was no restaurant. I went to see my room and it was in an internal 'well' with no external view. As I am claustrophobic this was no good. The elevator was tiny and old-fashioned and lights only came on in the tiny, drab landing when you stepped out of the elevator. I found it quite scary. There was nobody to show me to a better room so I decided to move to another hotel, as I just did not feel safe in this hotel (I was travelling alone). Luckily I found another one on the web with vacancies, which on arrival proved to be bright, well-staffed and in a nice area. The staff at the Holiday Inn did book a taxi for me. I arrived early evening. I had changed my travel plans due to a family emergency, and my original plan would have had me arriving very late at night from a flight from Australia. I don't know what I would have done under these circumstances. The Holiday Inn was outrageously expensive, and I was booked for three nights. I then had to pay again at the better hotel. I asked the Holiday Inn for a refund and they refused, although I had not used any service st all. I then tried IHG (the chain), as I am a long-term customer, but they also refused. I was astonished. Holiday Inn will certainly never be my first choice again, anywhere in the world. This hotel is definitely not for women travelling alone.…
The front desk staff at the hotel were exceptional and friendly . They were extremely helpful even though I asked them question after question. Rooms were clean and really a great size. Location was excellent. Just a few minutes from the Champs Elysee as well as Haussmann. Great service. Really appreciated the hospitality from the front desk staff.
Location is great, staff is really nice, WiFi was fast and the cleaning was ON TOP! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a cleaner room. Every day it was freshened up. Just a note, the room we stayed in had minor issues like the door to the bathroom wouldn’t really shut all the way. Overall, we were super impressed! Thanks for the hospitality.
In short, simple and elegant! What really makes this place a special and a preferred one for me in Paris is not only its central location, but the the amazing and friendly staff .. very helpful, professional and will never let you down. Special thanks to my friend Steeve and his colleagues Emile and Arasi 👍🏼👍🏼
Just got back from Paris and unlike my other reviews that I was super late on posting, I wanted to make sure I posted this review. The location was easy to get to, but you need to be the walking type. You can always Uber to and from, but it's more fun to walk to and from Champs Elysees to the hotel. It's a quieter walk, but after a noisy day of touristy activities, you'll appreciate it. BUT: The reason I wanted to post this right away - is the staff. YES. They were amazing! Starting with the male at the front desk when we arrived, he was doing his best and was very polite, in spite of fighting a mean cold. Also, there was lovely yound lady that was very attentive during our breakfast the next morning. We checked out, but needed to return to pick up our things after a day of sightseeing, and when we returned, the last person we interacted with was a young lady, Siriny R., who was professional and kind, and very helpful in responding to our many questions. She was just delightful! I'd stay here again.…
I thought I booked in a 4 star hotel, in a nice street... Exact opposite!! The hotel is a 3 star Max, if you see the pics on booking. Com you'd love it but when you get there you will be shocked! Couldn't move in the room it was tiny, old furniture very small toilet horrible elevator, no porter no help whatsoever no room service no attention to details, Noone replenished the coffee tray for 3 days... To make a long story short I wouldn't stay there again...
