The hotel is located in a nice quiet area near the Notre Dam and is sorrounded by nice cafes and restaurants. The metro station and bus stop are very close. The reception staff were very nice, helpful and friendly.

We stayed at the Hotel Agora Saint Germain for four nights in early October 2016. The hotel is located within easy walking distance to Notre Dame and the Saint Michael Notre Dame subway station. Walking down the Rue Monge from the hotel, toward the Seine, provides access to stores, bakeries, and restaurants. We had a quiet first floor room with...

Upon checking in in the late afternoon of September 15th, with a bit of jet lag and a chest cold, I inadvertently left at the front desk a small cotton, carrying bag which I’d used to hold snacks for our flight from New York. It contained several cellophane-bagged packets of dried fruit and a bag of potato chips. This was...

This is an excellent hotel - thoroughly recommended. Extremely well run, secure, very good breakfast with a wide choice and probably the best croissants I have ever tasted, spotlessly clean, very friendly staff. Old-fashioned and very small wall safe (not big enough for a laptop or even an iPad) with a key from reception - it might be good if...

We have stayed at ASG previously, liked it, and booked again. Still a very fine stay. Clean, comfortable, better rooms have a nice view. Staff is very helpful, speak English. Good breakfast. The location is superb for Left Bank touring. Metro is just around the corner.

Spent 2 weeks. Very convenient to most sights, easy access to bus and metro. Walked everywhere the first week...rooms are small, but dont spend much time there. We were on the 5th floor with a little balcony looking over the street, scent of baguettes and pastries wafting in in the middle of the night...loved the church bells. Very clean. Coffee...

A nice hotel, not the best we've stayed in but not the worst either, just nice. Room was OK but seemed in need of a little TLC but we thought it was plenty big enough and we did get the view requested from the front of the hotel looking out over the church, the bells not a problem for us as...

My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights. The walk from the Notre Dame took a few minutes, and rest of the big sights are a nice walk away. There is a metro stop near by too. The room was perfect. Small but it held myself, my friend and all our luggage with space so it's a perfect size...

This is a small hotel within 10 minutes' walking distance of Notre Dame Cathedral, the Seine and nearby to the metro for going further afield. Rooms are small (and the lift is even smaller!) but comfortable (the shower pressure in the bathroom is very good). The only downside was the very small safe which was not big enough to fit...

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
