Stayed here on my own in July 15. Very cosy room, elaborately decorated, nice bed. Ensuite clean and tidy. Staff were friendly. Like most Paris hotels the room was on the small side. The only downside for me was the breakfast buffet which was disappointing. Overall a clean establishment located in the heart of the 6th Arr, a good part...

We enjoyed staying at this hotel very much. We were on top floor looking out to street. Bathroom was modern but yet you are in a 200 year plus building with timber beams and French wallpaper walls. Beautiful staircase and tiny Parisian elevator. Very friendly staff. Location is fabulous if you enjoy walking Paris.

My second stay at this hotel - absolutely brilliant location in St Germain des Pres. Surrounded by great restaurants, cafes and bars. Comfortable rooms, reasonable breakfast and good service. If you need to stay in St Germain at a reasonable price, this hotel is a great option.

The 4 Star rating is primarily based on the location...can't get much better. Go out the front door to your right and you're approximately 100 meters from Boulevard St Germaine and Cafe Deux Magot and Cafe Flore. Take a left and you're 2 blocks from the Seine and the Louvre. Like most of the hotels in the area, the rooms...

Dear Lynn, The all team joins me and thanks you for your lovely words regarding your recent stay with us. You are right, we are very lucky with our number one position in the very heart of Paris. As Left Bank Paris hotels go (not spacious and not fancy), this one has moved to the top of our list. If you want to be near the Metro and within walking distance of the Louvre, this hotel is in the perfect place. It's attractive, well run and welcoming; rooms are comfortable; and a nice breakfast is available in the...

Well, Good location which is near to metro and many restaurants. The room condition is very classic with very 'daring' wall paper. :) the toilet is superb, look so classic and very clean. This small hotel is very close to the Metro, many good restaurants and nightlife, and convenient to access just about anywhere in the city. The neighborhood is one of my favorites in Paris. Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
