We spent 8 days here, knew Paris hotel rooms were small, but found our room larger than expected. The hotel is older, but the bathroom was updated, nice shower, marble counters to put things on, desk with mini-fridge on one side, which was convenient. Day room had a lovely garden that offered a bargain breakfast for 10 Euro. Hotel was...

We've just had 5 nights at this lovely hotel, and couldn't fault it. In an excellent position, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would love to think that we will return to Paris, and would certainly stay at this hotel again.

This is a little gem of a hotel in a lovely part of Paris. The rooms are small ( normal for Paris) but clean. The Hotel Lobby is lovely and breakfast can be served in the atrium overlooking a gorgeous courtyard. We were out most of the day and really only used the Hotel as a base to sleep. Its...

This hotel would suit anyone who wants to enjoy a traditional Paris hotel experience. We selected it on ithe location in the heart of St Germain, which is brilliant - 50 metres from Les Deux magots, Flore etc. This is a very clean, convenient, small hotel with lots of eccentric, dated decor. Our room with its 4-poster was decorated in...

Yes, the room was small but that was expected in Paris. They had not electrical outlets in the room but the one on the floor behind the refrigerator. We had to charge a phone and camera and had to get on our hands and knees to do this. That meant unplugging a lamp for the evening and the lighting was...

This hotel was very nice. However for the €170 that we paid per night we were expecting more. It was our 1st stop on our honeymoon. As u can imagine we were excited to start our marriage in Paris. Then we get to a room with 2 single beds attached to each other as one 'large bed' & this was...

We stayed at this hotel for eight wonderful nights. It is a real gem, located in a great location, walking distance from many major sites, near the metro, buses, cafes, stores, etc., etc. etc. It is very clean. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and speaks English. The area is safe and well traveled. Breakfast which is held in an...

This hotel was highly recommended to us by a friend and we found it worthy of his praise. It was cold, very cold during our visit to Paris and this small hotel, in the heart of St. Germain des Pres, offered a cozy base for our explorations of this fascinating district, as well as the Louvre, the Musee d'Orsay, Notre...

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
