This hotel is the perfect location. We stayed here for 1 night. Travelled with 2 children, so we had a double room next to each other. Rooms are clean and neat. Enough space for luggage. No bar fridge or coffee station in rooms. Bathroom is...More
This quaint and small hotel along Rue Cler is a diamond- beds are comfortable, room is very clean, and you may even have the room with the view of the tip of the Eiffel Tower. It is around 3 to 4 blocks of walking to...More

The location on Rue Cler rates a 4.5. We put together most breakfasts and lunches from street market shops and restaurants, not bothering with the breakfast downstairs. Triple rooms are harder to find, ours was nicely located on the fifth floor overlooking the street with...More
Rue Cler is our preferred neighborhood to stay at in Paris as our Europe travel is influenced by Rick Steve's travel guides. You have all the amenities available to you within a quick walk (cafes, quick market, laundry, bank, 2 metro stops.)

With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and
politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
The hotel will arrange for a shuttle. It is not free at all, but less than a standard taxi would be. Hotel Leveque can give you the rates, if I recall correctly, so that you can make the best choice for your situation... More
The hotel will arrange for a shuttle. It is not free at all, but less than a standard taxi would be. Hotel Leveque can give you the rates, if I recall correctly, so that you can make the best choice for your situation. If/when I stay again (and that is definitely in the plans), I would not hesitate to use the shuttle service arranged by the hotel.

That's an entirely personal preference, in my opinion. I was in the twin room, with no view at all. But like others who have commented, my time in the room was very limited I was too busy exploring and experiencing Paris. I will say, that regardless of which room you ultimately book, I think you will find the location of Grand Hotel Leveque to be a major selling point. I LOVED the area and the street itself. You have everything (and I mean EVERYTHING!) you need with a very short walking distance, from a coin laundry to a post office and bus/metro service. The local residents are fantastic and the shopkeepers are so helpful and friendly.
Have a terrific time in Paris, regardless of the size of the room!
