This was my first stay at this hotel. Rooms are clean spacious and well-appointed. There are plenty of places to eat/drink within a short walk. Metro is close too. There is 24 hour reception although the door is closed at midnight . Bathroom is clean and spacious. Elevator operates.

A good value hotel that delivers what it offers – between Odeon and Luxembourg (RER) stations. Clean rooms, pleasant staff, excellent location right in the middle of Luxembourg and the Latin Quarter/Saint Germain. We were also able to check in early, which was great. You won’t get a better value hotel in this area of Paris.

Great location. Nice hotel. Helpful staff. The rooms are, however, small. Not that, during your stay, you have to return the key of your room to the front desk when you leave. When you return to the hotel you have to ask again for the Key of your room!

Made a mistake on the last review by only giving this charming hotel and its staff only a poor rating it should have been very good. My mistake apologies to the hotel. The hotel is very close to the bistro district with very reasonable prices and tasty food. Also easy access to all major tourist attractions and a recomendation to...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel in early May. The staff are excellent, really friendly and helpful. They make you feel at home, even if your French is not all that good. One lady at the desk speaks excellent English, the other gentlemen much less. The room we had, on the 5th floor was typically Parisian Hotel (read...

We stayed in this hotel for one week with our two children. We were given 2 rooms next to each other and it worked out well. The service was friendly and efficient. The reception staff were happy to help us with directions and recommendations to local sights. The beauty of this hotel is essentially its location. Just off St Germain...

The location is the main draw for this hotel - it's right in the midst of the Odeon/St Michel neighbourhood yet in a quiet residential street. Rooms are tiny but are quite well appointed, although if you are staying for a long duration, you will struggle for space. the front desk staff are helpful and very polite. Overall, this is...

Nice little hotel right in the middle of a thriving area. But peaceful when you need it. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Will use this hotel again. Lots of cafes and tourist sights nearby such as Notre Dam, Louvre, Luxembourg gardens etc.

This hotel has an excellent location, at walking distance from Notre Dame, Luxemburg gardens, Louvre & Orsey museums. You can find many bistros, caffe & shops at the area. Also just 200m away there is a metro station to move around the rest of the city. Other than that its clean & the staff is very friendly but the rooms...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
