The hotel is very central, minutes from Notre Dame. It's on a busy street but the moment you step inside it's an oasis of calm. Our bedroom was unbelievably quiet (ask for one which doesn't face the road), with the only sounds being birdsong and church bells. The rooms are on the small side but clean and with very comfortable...

It was a great experience to be at Hotel Henri IV. The staff is friendly and kind. The Hotel has beautiful common areas where you can feel at home. The bedroom had a lot of space and it was possible to put your luggage in a little hall inside the bedroom, so you have extra space. Everything was very clean...

We stayed at Hotel Henri IV for a total of 4 nights in October of 2015. We were steps away from Notre Dame, in the heart of the Latin District. The location couldn't have been better. There was minimal noise from street heard in our room, and only if our window was cracked open. I loved that we could hear...

Excellent clean and friendly place to return to I got here yearly for the past 10 years and never been disappointed. It is a home away from home The rooms tend to be on the darker side but they are always clean and well decorated The kitchenette is very practical and nice to have Will go back again

For the combination of location and price, it can't be beat. The views of Place Dauphine make for great people watching, and being right at the tip of the Île de la Cité leaves you plenty of RER and Metro line options, not to mention so many places in walking distance. Hotel itself is cozy. Nice room, comfortable beds. The...

This hotel is small but nice. The wifi is good and the bathrooms are nice. If you are looking for a hotel that would fit a small family or couple, this is perfect for you. There is a bit of city noise but it is not too noticeable. My family and I really enjoyed our stay.

Sadly it isn't good. We found the room and carpet old and smelly and decided to leave after one night… naturally they strenuously insisted on full payment claiming a 3 day cancellation policy. Still it was bad enough that we chose to take the loss and walk.

Staying in Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis

Neighbourhood Profile
Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité, sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island, welcomes you with cozy traditional eateries, small boutiques, and what some people say is the best ice cream in the city. This is essential Paris from its very beginnings to its modern appeal.
