Excellent location for the Louvre area!! he hotel itself has been in business for about 100 years. The building is from the 16th century and was built as an abbey. Monks resided here which is why the rooms are so petite. The floor in the...More
This hotel has a great location. Easy walking distance to the Louvre, Orsay, other attractions. Rooms are a little dated but spacious enough. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The old time charm of picking up and dropping off your key as you come...More
We stayed here after our marriage on June 2nd. Its location is so amazing you practically walk to everywhere you need to see when you're on a very short vacation like us. We did visit Louvre just across on Sunday, but couldn't see Musee D'Orsay...More

France > Ile-de-France > Paris > Saint-Germain-des-Prés
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented
musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.

I stayed in a double room on the 4th Floor with a river view and it had a balcony which accommodated two chairs and I used a wastebasket for a side table. From what I saw, all the rooms on the 4th Floor have balconies and I would imagine that a triple room would have a balcony if it's on the 4th floor. The river-view rooms are THE BEST.
