Stayed 2 nights in late 2017 and had a good stay overall.
But my room was noisy while facing the Grands Boulevards and Rue Montmartre (corner room). It was on 7th floor but still hearing all the noise from the street (cars, trucks...).

The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in
another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
I stayed 3 nights without any bed bugs problem but my experience with house keeping has been poor. So I am not surprised that a guest reported bed bugs in the room. I guess I have been lucky. Hope the same with you.
