This hotel has quaint rooms with complimentary shampoo, shower gel, sewing kit, vanity kit, shoe buff in each room. The hotel is on a side street so it is very quiet but very convenient to many small restaurants that are amazing. Located between two subway stops it was convenient to stay for business and explore Paris and the surrounding area. I will be back.

We enjoyed staying here for our first trip to Paris. The staff were polite and friendly, the downstairs reception/bar area were really lovely, and the value and location of the hotel itself made it a great home base for exploring Le Marais in particular--this was our main goal, as we had heard so much of the food/shopping/drinking! We did not love the beds (old, hard mattresses) and parts of the room could have used a new coat of paint (there were some scorch marks on the walls!) but it was all apart of the "Old Paris" charm. There was an issue where we got an email saying a card (that did not belong to us) charged another €400 (!!) but the staff said it was an error and just sometimes happened? Seemed a bit weird, if it happens regularly surely there must be a plan to fix it.

Dear Guest, Thanks a lot for sharing your experience stay at the Villa Beaumarchais. We are glad that you have loved the staff and the location of our Hotel and we thank you for that. Just a few words about the issue with the payment. As you write it seems like you received an email where a credit card number was indicate and this is not real. You have received an email with payment of your stay made by the virtual credit card system of the website where you book. You said to us and we have explained you that at the reception, so about that there is no mistery and nothing weird. We really thank you again about your comment. Best Regards Federico & Villa Beaumarchais Team

Pro's - Hotel is in a great location, approx 5 min walk to Chemin Vert station. Buidling felt very Parisian. Rooms are quaint. However, since it's a very historic building, hallways and rooms are on the dark side, hallways are completely dark until motion sensors kick in, has a bit of "The Shinning" feel.
Staff was polite.
Con's - We booked 2 rooms with 2 double Beds in each room as we had 2 separte families, were given 2 rooms with one bed in each room upon arrival, then was told us we needed to pay extra to upgrade to a larger room for the extra bed. Felt a bit mislead.
Hotel security needs an update. The hotel still uses a manual key for guest rooms with the room number attached, key needs to be dropped off at the front desk as you leave and picked up upon return. The counter has a "key box" for drop off, however, it's nothing more than a hole on the counter top and key drops onto the bottom counter. Key is not secured. Since the front door is also not secured and no one is at the front desk at all times, it would be very easy to compromise room security. The front desk also mistakenly gave our room key to another guest checking in. They did not take the steps to ensure our room was properly secured after the discovering that error. We walked into our unlocked room.

Dear guest, Thanks a lot for your comment about your stay in July with us. We are sorry to have to say that we are not really agree with your words even if we take in to account because all remarks is welcomed to improve a make better. On all of our hallway, there are lights that get on with a sensor because for a eco friendly reason is not responsible to keep lights on 24 hours on 24. After that you have book 2 classics rooms, they all are 19 sq meters all is describe on webisites and because you have asked for a larger room we propose you a superior room with an extra charge that is sound logical. Our Reception is open 24hours on 24, there is always somebody at the reception, and we have an electronic system to open doors and no more keys. Thank you anyway for your comment. Best Regards Federico & Villa Beaumarchais Team

My husband and I scrolled through many hotels on the Eurostar website but we felt this one had the most authentic french look that we wanted.
We were greeted warmly upon arrival by the lovely lady at the desk and the atmosphere immediately made me feel as ease (I’m an anxious traveller and get nervous in new places to begin with). Our room (109) had beautiful decor and was plenty big enough for two. The bathroom was well equipped with toiletries, plenty of towels, toilet rolls and the shower was lovely. The mattress was a little hard for me but hubby said it was perfect for him, pillows were super comfy and temperature was good.
I hadn’t seen much about the breakfast on here prior to my visit but it had a great selection. I asked if I could have some gluten free bread and they kindly arranged this for the next 2 days (and remembered to bring it out when they saw us come down - that is service for you!) If anyone with allergies are visiting, don’t be afraid to ask, they will certainly accommodate!!!
The location is a great walking distance (30 mins +) to many touristic sites and the closed metro stop is about 2-3 min walk.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone, it was a great home from home and we would not hesitate to return.
Thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome!

The hotel has the old Paris flair and is located in the trendy Marais district, in walking distance to the shopping and sights. The rooms are perfectly designed, very quiet and very comfortable beds with tea and coffee and very nice shower products. It's certainly a 4-star experience and we would come back again!

Tucked away in Le Marais, perfectly located for easy (under 5 and under 10 mins) walk to 2/3 metros, AND surrounded by lots of lovely and walkable choices for restaurants and bars. Place des Vosges is a stone’s throw away. We took a cab to Canal Saint Martin one evening because it was freezing cold - easily taxiable- but you could probably walk to there too on a nice spring/summer evening (?maybe 25 mins?).
Hotel is delightfully decorated, lots of painted wood and panelling. Our room was smallish but very pretty and had everything you could want. The conservatory bar area is lovely and upstairs are squishy leather sofas, a fire, bookshelves and an honesty bar. Joy. Staff are all helpful and friendly. We loved it, basically!

Villa Beaumarchais is just off the busy boulevard Beaumarchais. Its location means it close to all kinds of things including restaurants and bars, but it's quite quiet. That means it's easy to sleep and when you enter the hotel it's like a little oasis.

We had a lovely stay at the Villa Beaumarchais for 3 nights. The hotel is situated close to the no.8 metro line, and is also within walking distance of many good restaurants. The quiet Rue des Arquebusiers is just off a main thoroughfare. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. You feel that you are in a well cared-for older property, with all the modern necessities. We had everything we needed and the breakfast provided a good variety of options each morning in the tranquil bar/restaurant which boasted some very impressive tropical plants at its centre.

I hate to admit this, since I spent a bit more than I normally would spend on hotels, but this place was so great and I would stay there again! It was in the PERFECT location! So close to a number of metro lines. And so close to fun shops and restaurants that are open late too. Close to Place de Vosges. Close to the Siene. I walked here to most all of the places I wanted to see. The staff did such a nice job of cleaning my room. The toiletries were great - the conditioner and shampoo were great (I usually have to bring my own because the free hotel stuff doesn't do a good job, but theirs did). I did the breakfast one morning because they comped me because of a snafu. It was a really nice breakfast! Fresh squeezed OJ and grapefruit juice, the best croissants, hot chocolate, meats, cheeses, etc. But if you aren't going to be eating that much in the morning anyway, it wouldn't be worth the price. But if you want a big breakfast each morning, than it definitely is. Room size was great for me.
One tip though, if you are wondering if you should have the hotel call for a taxi for you or get an Uber, GET AN UBER! The taxi service they called for me was 20 euro more than an Uber would have been. I wish I had realized that. The hotel said they didn't know what the price would be. They could have asked the taxi company, but they did not. I was worried about getting to the airport on time so did it. I'm passing along the info to the rest of you so that you can benefit from my experience.

I stayed here for five nights in February. I wouldn’t stay again.
The hotel is between Republica and Bastile. It borders Le Marais. In my opinion this absolutely is not a 4 Star hotel.
I had a standard room, which looked much larger in the pictures than it actually was.
The room was small, stuffy, one window was blocked by the tv, and there was far too much furniture.
You could only walk around the bed. And my side of the bed was less than two feet from the bathroom door. It was uncomfortable and claustrophobic.
As we were staying for 5 nights I immediately asked for another room. I was told the hotel was full. When I asked for an upgrade, there were rooms available but at at extra 250e. Which I was not prepared to pay, as I already felt this hotel was overpriced, and after seeing it I really didn’t think it worthy of its rating.
My biggest bug-bare however, is this; there are no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms. This is quite common in Paris. However, there is a coffee machine that guests use for breakfast. You can drink as much coffee as you can until 10am every day. After that the hotel charges you 4e for a coffee from an automatic machine. This is more expensive than some places in Le Marais charge for a fresh coffee.
The only good thing I could say about this place is that despite the carpet being worn and stained, my room was made up and cleaned every day to the highest standard.

The glass elevator is great. It brings you to the -1 level where the breakfast buffet is as well as to the lovely rooms upstairs. The decorations inside the shaft are worthwhile.
i think it would be possible.
but the rooms are quite small since its an old buiding refurbished into a hotel.
but i dont think it would be a problem and the staff is very helpful. just ask.
Dear Guest,
