What a lovely hotel. A warm welcome to start by the lovely gentleman at reception. They give you a handy guide of good places to eat in the area and how to get to the main attractions. This was very useful to us. Our room was lovely and clean, comfy bed. Room was cleaned and made up every day. Great...

We booked a superior room and were put in a deluxe room - the front desk said we were upgraded. After along night of flying we just did not want to argue. I did not look at the booking until we got home to confirm that it was a superior room we booked - but be it as it may...

We loved this hotel for many reasons. The location cannot be better. It is next door to Brasserie Lipp, across the street from Cafe de Flore and Deux Magot. It's within walking distance to everything. It took us barely 10 minutes to walk to Musee d'Orsay and about 15 to Notre Dame. The Metro is a couple of minutes on...

We have now stayed twice at this hotel, same room. Top floor facing the Boulevard. Very quirky but wonderfully atmospheric and great views. Great location and very handy for seeing Paris, particularly the Left Bank. And don't miss dining or at least having a drink at the brasseries next door and opposite the hotel.

A very quick stop over in Paris, allowed us one night in the city. Great location, 5 mins from the metro, attentive and helpful staff, very comfortable, quiet room! We definitely hope to return, for a longer visit next time!

The staff was attentive, the room we had was clean and comfortable but small. Great shower and amenities. The location for tourism and transportation is ideal. If I were to return, I would make sure to ask for a larger room. Do ask for a street view since the rooms are soundproof.

Regretfully a short stay, but overwhelmed by charm, position, helpful accomodating staff Have stayed in bigger, more expensive hotels in Paris, this easily a better choice, small things that count, love their discrete charm and elegance. Staff get a big plus in everything they do. Followed their tips on restaurants nearby, judgement is outstanding Next visit to Paris, this will...

This hotel is located in the best street on the Left Bank of Paris. The hotel staff are excellent and very helpful. Hotel rooms are spacious by Parisian standards and very nicely decorated. High quality is what you get here.

Gracious and helpful front desk staff. Made us feel at home right away. Cozy sitting and breakfast areas. Wonderful little elevator that went from ground floor up. Amply sized rooms. Good seating. Honor bar. Firm mattress. Good SG location but on a very busy and noisy street. Not a bad value at all.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
