Stunning hotel on the left bank

This was our last stay in Paris after 3 weeks in France. When we stepped into the hotel our breath was taken away. What a beautiful hotel with its period furiture. We booked the top floor suite #604. When we stepped in we were surprised by the size of it. Just perfect for our family including two kids. The views were amazing. The flowers behind the windows were a delight. We could see the Notre Dame and Eiffel tower and the rooftops of Paris. The a/c was perfect as all the other hotels we stayed in allowed the a/c to only go down to 20 degrees celcius. The breakfast was wonderful. Cannot go wrong with 5 euros per person. The food was fresh and the service was great. Anytime we needed help with any questions or tips was provided by the front desk. They helped getting a large van for our trip to the airport. I must say, this is the most wonderful hotel we have ever stayed in and we strongly recommend anyone to stay there. Book the top floor suite #604 if you can!!…

Extremely charming with fantastic location

My family stayed in the top floor suite of the hotel and we couldn't have been more happy with our accommodations. The room was very charming. The furniture is fitting of the style of the hotel--not brand new but well loved and properly maintained. The bathroom has been remodeled with updated fixtures and flooring. The location was perfect. Just steps from a metro station and taxi stand. Less than a mile walk to the Louvre. Many food options nearby. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and enjoyed every bit of our stay. I was beyond thrilled to be able to see the Eiffel Tower from one side of our room and Notre Dame (or what remains at this time) from the other side. I would not hesitate to stay here again!…

Just got back and wanted to write a review. We were in Paris with my sister’s family. We stayed at this hotel while they stayed on the Champs Elysses at a $900 a night hotel. After visiting them at their hotel, all I could think of was how much I liked our hotel better! Their hotel felt cold and without character. Hotel Left Bank is in a super cute neighborhood. The rooms were quaint and felt Parisian. Having Eric Kayser across the street doesn’t hurt either. Metro was right down the street. I thought the location was awesome. Everything felt really close. There were 3 of us staying in Paris. Our room had one Queen size bed and a single bed. Both were very comfy. Bathroom was nice size and great layout. I’d totally stay there again and I was happy with the price. …

We decided to stay here given the good reviews it has on TripAdvisor. The location is outstanding and so if that is the key consideration then this hotel is for you. Otherwise the decor of the hotel is dated, our room had a stale smell to it, the breakfast very average and the service nothing notable. One bonus is a wonder boulangerie across the road that is perfect for breakfast!…

Hi, for any former guests who booked the 'suite' on their top floor was there a lift that traveled directly from the ground floor to the room? Also I checked the representative photos of the suite on the hotel's website versus actual former guests' photos and it sure looks gloomy. Could be the differences in lighting? I guess I can live with the gloom in exchange for the wonderful vistas from the double windows. But just want to know for sure if former guests felt the room was indeed as dark and gloomy as I am thinking or if there's enough light both natural and from the room lighting. Thanks!

Thank you for your reply, 1susiq20. I have already stayed at the hotel. The suite was great actually. So for anyone else who is interested, there are two sets of windows. Larger set consisted of four windows in the bedroom area. They do let in a good amount of natural light, and that side of the hotel there is a beautiful view of Notre Dame in the distance as well as some neighboring buildings' rooftops. On the other side of the room there is one set of windows that overlook the street as well as the top of the Eiffel Tower. Room was huge as it's an attic room. Truly lovely set up as there's a sofa (I think it's a sofa bed) and desk plus TV in the sitting room. Then there are French doors that separate that room with the bedroom. Bedroom has another desk, make up table and stool, and another flat screen TV. Only thing missing is a working minibar/fridge. There appears to be one in the room but it's locked. Bathroom is huge with a set of windows overlooking the street. It's a bit outdated, but it's extremely spotless & the counter is made of a rust colored marble. Hairdryer is one of those outdated vacuum cleaner hose types. We just brought our own dryer. Closet is very huge but is located in a space with a very deep drop which was weird.
