Travelled with some friends so we booked 3 rooms and the staff so amazingly arranged it so that we could have rooms near each other. The hotel is so beautiful and service was top notch. The location of the hotel is also very centralised so getting around was easy.
My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in June 2022. The area is very nice with plenty of great shopping (high end), restaurants, cafes etc. It was very warm outside when we arrived so the air conditioning was fantastic!! The rooms are super quiet. The downside is that the hotel feels like it is living in the 80's or 90's and needs a refresh.
We spent a weekend at the Mandarin Oriental, Paris, in November. Property is in the perfect location in Paris. Service was amazing, guest relations, concierge, breakfast, bar, bell boy - everyone was super nice and provided us with an outstanding experiance. We didnt go to the restaurant, but the a-la-carte breakfast and bar were top. The location of the bar in the courtyard is beautiful. Let me single out the concierge, we had real bad experiance at a restaurant (unbelievable bad service at CoCo) and the concierge team tried to intervene and help us out.
Was there for 2 days. Everything was easy. Extremely attentive service. Rooms are fine, even though they have a problem with the smell in the showers. But overall a good and pleasant stay with top service.
This property is located in the most luxurious area of Paris within walking distance to top notch shops. Located on Rue St Honore with a courtyard for evening drinks. Our room had all the modern and recently renovated. The bathroom was great with both bathtub and shower. Check in was super fast and the concierge was professional and knowledgeable. They were able to make restaurant, show and tour for us. Overall every staff we encountered went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were met. The breakfast was so tasty.
They go the extra mile every time! From the initial check-in, to housekeeping, to room service, to restaurant service - they never disappoint. A wonderful location with a fantastic staff. Will definitely be making reservations for the spring to visit again.
This was my third time at this hotel, and I specifically stay there for the location. If you are an avid shopper, you want to be here. Located on Rue Faubourg St Honore, it is extremely overpriced, specially this year. Even though the Euro is down, it seems that they have increased their prices on the rooms and the food. Considering this is a city hotel, the rooms are decent size. I had a room with the courtyard view, enough walking space and place to put my luggage. The service was friendly , but needs major improvement. The concierge did not go out of their way to find me a specific restaurant or nightclub. I even asked them to get me a reservation at Sur Mesure ( which is located in the hotel), they made me go online. I had the chance to try a massage at the spa, and I was pleasantly surprised . The massage therapist was excellent, and the whole spa atmosphere was very serene. I highly recommend it. The drinks at the lounge were excellent, and the staff was very friendly. In fact, I had ordered a drink and did not like it. When the waitress realized I was not drinking it, she offered me something else at no charge. The drink she offered was so good, that I ended up getting it everyday! I forgot the name but will attach a picture. Overall I give it my GoldnAdvice seal of approval, and hope next time I go they would have elevated the service to match their brand.…
Staying in Chateau Voltaire (5 star). Attempted to have afternoon tea in the MO atrium today as I have done this before. The female waitress on hearing that we were not resident refused to let us sit in any of the covered seats despite the atrium being 90pc empty and she did not check for bookings. I was offered an uncovered table instead (it was raining). The waitress was passive rude in tone and attitude. This is a one star service hotel.
We stayed here during my birthday and I could not have been more delighted. The check in was very smooth, we had requested early check in and we were sipping champagne they arranged the check in. The room was fantastic, very spacious, with a seating area and a large bathroom and dressing room. They had been advised by my partner that it was my birthday and they had arranged for a bottle of Cristal Champagne, gorgeous chocolates and a cake and a lovely message. The bed was very comfortable with a proper feather duvet and pillows. The hairdryer was excellent and they even had a hair straightener. There were plenty of plugs by the bed and the desk for mobiles, laptops etc. Plenty of hangers in the wardrobes, which is unusual. The staff throughout the hotel, from the cleaners to front desk, in the restaurant and the bar were all amazing, friendly, attentive and polite. Breakfast was fantastic and the lovely Bar 8 served delicious cocktails and were situated in a beautifully lit courtyard. Through my work I get to travel the world and I can honestly say that this is definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.…
Perfect hotel for a stylish Parisian weekend. Location is the best, but I mostly enjoyed the personal service and the attention to detail. Spa treatment was divine and breakfast very yummy. I’ll definitely be back:)
