I have stayed in nicer hotels but this one had character and was very quirky. It was great value for the location and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this hotel

We spent one night in this hotel in November. We arrived around 11. We had been allocated a twin room which the hotel readily changed to a double and allowed us to check in straight away. The room was on the top floor and accessed by stairs from the floor below which wasn't an issue at all. Despite the fact...

This old building (1500s) is a charming, cosy and quiet place offering packed small rooms and tiny corridors. Having said this, if you are into experiencing the romantic flavour, in the nice and restaurant full area of the Halles, this is your place to stay. Location is just fantastic, staff is really friendly and connection with subway or airport is...

The hotel is small and quaint with decor that fits the tradition and age of the hotel. The rooms are small but very comfortable. The linen and towels and all other amenities were absolutely great! The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We were allowed to book in early and after booking out they stored our luggage till later. Highly...

Our terrific room was red velvet with a crazy tiled red and white bathroom. Wonderful fixtures and one of the best showers I have enjoyed in years. Helpful and kind front desk. So important when your French is limited or non-existent. And great directions for parking your car - please do it through the front desk as the savings they...

Stayed in mid September together with a group of Chinese business people visiting an exhibition at Paris Le Bourget. The position of the hotel could not have been better. Two minutes from Metro and within a few hundred mts several good restaurants (not expensive) and a good bakery where you could have coffee and fresh croissant. Rooms were like old...

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
