We stayed here 4 nights recently in a junior suite. The staff were very kind and helpful, the room was nicely decorated, the wifi was good. The area is conveniently located - we walked to the Marais, Notre Dame and Isle St Louis.

This is a charming hotel which is really close to the Chatelet Metro station which makes getting around the city so much easier. The rooms are very nice and there is a breakfast room which serves a continental breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay.

Found through TripAdvisor at last minute for 115 euros/night for a single room on weekend. They kindly upgraded me though the result was still a small room. Because of some noisy protest down the street they thoughtfully put me on the top, sixth floor as far away as possible, but because the windows are ones that actually open and are... More

I found Hotel Brittanique simply walking from the Marais to the Louvre on one of many trips to Paris. Only steps from Chatelet station and Le Pompidou, this little boutique hotel is a true gem with amazing staff and cozy rooms - small yes but this is Paris. At night the area is alive with cafes and bistros. For those... More

The Hotel Britannique is a wonderful boutique hotel with a great location! The staff is extremely friendly and willing to help with everything. The rooms are not large, nothing in Europe is, but it was very clean and comfortable. As others have said, the "lift" is very small, but makes for good laughs. The location is excellent as it is... Starting from my airport pickup to checking in, it was such a lovely arrival experience in Paris. The staffs were friendly and hotel was charming. The living room was warm, comfortable with big cushions that makes you felt at home. Like many hotels in Paris, expect the room to be small. However, they are well maintained and decorated. The bed... More

I have been in Paris many times. So far Britannique hotel left me vey disappointed. Instead of promissed city or river view we were facing deteriorating dirty hotel wall. Instead of advertised Annick Goutal toiletries we were suplied by cheap conditioner and shampoo that even did not do their job. We paid for 2 separated beds; instead we had them... More

This was my fifth stay at Hotel Britannique. The Hotel is nice and located on a quiet street, but, it is close to the Seine, Louvre, Metro, shopping, Notte Dame, etc. It would be hard to find a better Hotel in Paris.

Staying in Les Halles

Neighbourhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
