Hotel Britannique receives high marks for its enchanting atmosphere and European elegance, with guests frequently commenting on its tasteful decorations. The hotel's location is a highlight, offering easy access to various attractions and dining options, as well as metro connectivity. Staff members at the hotel are lauded for their friendly and professional service, contributing to a pleasant stay.
Cleanliness is another strong point, with thorough housekeeping ensuring a comfortable environment. Detailed Reviews
We love the location of this hotel, every part of Paris seems so near because to Metro Station is only walk 3 minutes.
Hotel is very clean, bed mattress and pillows are very comfy. Bathroom has bath tube and was very clean bathroom. Size of bathroom is good for me, not too small and has places to put toiletries.
The down side is; the bedroom is small if you bring 2 medium luggage. I had difficulty to open second luggage because not enough space. But given the best location and the cleanliness of the hotel, I don't mind small bedroom as long as it has big window and small balcony like this room I got.
My Window is facing to the front street. I was in 5th level, in this winter when my room felt hot I had to open the window and I could hear the noise from the street.
In 4 days of our stay we had one time breakfast. Got a good price on breakfast becs I booked the night before. Variation on buffet breakfast was not much but It is OK for the price, and it has nice scrambled eggs!

My husband and I absolutely loved our 4 night stay at Hotel Britannique. Our stay was rescheduled so much due to Covid (we originally booked for October 2020 and eventually visited in September 2021) but the hotel staff, especially Henri, were so professional and prompt when replying to my many emails. The hotel is clean and aesthetically pleasing, and the staff are friendly - especially Jessica and Henri! We had breakfast included which was ample and delicious. The rooms are relatively small but very well kept and you don't need a huge room because you're there to enjoy beautiful Paris! The hotel did, however, give us a gorgeous balcony with great views. One of my fave things about Hotel Britannique is the location - perfectly situated just one street back from the Siene and in walking/biking distance of all points of interest. Thank you so much for a fun and lovely stay! We will certainly be back one day.

We came to Paris to spend some time with friends to celebrate Lunar New Year and saw the great reviews this hotel had.
We loved the super convenient location and the moment we walked in we’re amazed by the classic aesthetic and cleanliness.
The staff were really welcoming and accommodating allowing us to store our bags while we went for lunch and wait for check in time. When we returned we were given our keys and they had already been kind enough to put our bags in the room.
The room itself is a great size, very clean and has all you need with mini bar, safe, toiletries and plenty of multi-national charging plugs and USB.
The bed was huge and one of the most comfortable I’ve slept on in any hotel. Show had great water pressure and temperature.
We had breakfast for one morning which we enjoyed and had a good amount of healthy choices.
If you don’t have what you need in your room there is a great selection of choices from reception which you can order and have brought to your room.
Overall I’d highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay and plenty of things to do within a short walk. We will be staying here again upon our return to Paris.

Hotel Britannique is in a fabulous location. Close to so many things with Metro stops within a 2 minute walk. The hotel was very clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We paid 10 Euros each for the breakfast which was tasty with warm eggs and bacon daily plus fruits, cheese and a selection of delicious pastries plus bread and toaster if you wanted to make your own toast. Lots of juices to choose from too. We had a courtyard room (#25) which didn't have much of a view (but we weren't in the room much). We did not hear any street noise. The walls are a little on the thin side and at times we could hear other guests but it didn't both us or stop us from having a good sleep. The king sized bed was comfy with 4 pillows. The bathroom was a decent size with a large shelf to store all our toiletries and there was a walk in shower with lots of hot water (good pressure) and cozy large towels for afterwards. Face clothes are not provided but when I asked they did supply me with a version of a wash cloth. It reminded me of a synthetic paper towel. There were 3 English channels on the TV and a mini fridge which we used to store our own bottled water and a handful of groceries we bought. We used the safe to store our extra cash and passports.
My only complaint would be the closet. Although there was lots of shelves to unpack clothes, the hanging section was very frustrating. The closet was not deep enough so the hangers had to rest on an angle. They had those annoying type where the hook is permanent and you remove the base of the hanger. Every time I went to put something back inside I'd knock the previous one down.
Overall, the hotel was wonderful. We would happily stay again.

We chose the hotel for its location, and we were very pleased. 3 minute walk to Chatelet Metro, and an adjacent taxi stand. Many restaurants within a five minute walk. A nearby Jazz Club (Sunset Sunside). The staff were friendly and always helpful.
Only two small downsides: first, the rooms are really SMALL. Be aware, there isn't much room to move around, even in the deluxe rooms. They were well decorated, and the bed and bathroom were fine ... but they are small. Second, housekeeping was prompt at doing the rooms, but each day, forgot to replenish something (coffee, soap, small items such as those). But they were very easy to contact and to bring the stuff they forgot.
We can't say enough about how convenient this is to everything. It was a great location, a friendly hotel, and we were very pleased.

I was traveling alone on this trip to Paris and booked to stay away from the beaten path full of designer shops and hotels for change. Not sure of the area, condition of the hotel, I only booked for two nights intending on extending it by a couple more nights. The hotel is located in the heart of the city life on a large, well lit street surrounded by lot of bars and restaurants that attract local people. That allowed me to go out and explore the nightlife without worrying about personal safety. I also found a great boutique a block behind the hotel to shop inexpensive fashionable clothes designed by up and coming French and Italian designers. There are also many great cafes, bakeries, all ethnicity restaurants, Irish, British pubs, bars, jazz clubs, Latin dance clubs within 10 blocks around the hotel. Because there are several bars directly across from the hotel, you get the noise starting late in the afternoon until they close but being the person who's able to sleep through anything, I didn't mind that at all. The room i was in was very small but it had a mini bar, full bathroom with bathtub/shower. The room had a large window that opened toward the street with a pretty flour balcony facade with high ceiling so it didn't feel so stuffy. The 24 hours front desk staff were extremely welcoming, informative and accommodating. I loved Nicole who received me at check-in and and the male staff on the day of check out, and the lady night manager throughout my stay. The night manager on duty on April 7th went out of her way to help with my needs the hotel across the street lacked even after checking out of the hotel that morning (Because I enjoyed the hotel and the area so much that I wanted to extend my stay by an extra night or two but unfortunately they're sold out for the weekend, forcing me to check into their competitor's hotel across the street.). I highly recommend this hotel to any single or couples looking to explore Paris like the locals do. I am definitely coming back (next time with my Irish pub and jazz club loving husband ;) )!! Thank you to all the staff at Hotel Britannique for such a wonderful stay.

There are so many hotels to choose from in Paris after considerable searching we settled on Hôtel Britannique, and we are so delighted to have made the right choice. The hotel feels very cosy with a most welcoming ambience. The hotel has historic links with the British, and this is reflected in the modest and tasteful decor which reflects British charm presented with unmistakable Parisian flair.
Hotels rooms in Paris can be quite compact, and Hôtel Britannique is no exception but leans towards the more generous end of the spectrum, but the space has been utilised exceptionally well and where this hotel stands head and shoulders above most others is the wonderful bathroom - a very high standard for Paris. Everything was tidy and in good order, including the 3 passenger lift. There is an amazing 19th C staircase in original condition which is an exhibition in itself. The staff were very pleasant and attentive throughout our stay and could not be faulted.
So you take a perfect, charming British themed hotel with romantic Parisien charm and wonderful staff , then nestle it neatly adjacent to Place du Châtelet and the Seine and within walking distance of Notre-Dame, Hôtel de Ville, the Louvre, Place de la Concorde and Champs Elysées, Rue de Rivoli etc etc. Excellent cafes, Boulangerie, restaurants, shops and Metro/ RER et voila - L’Hôtel Britannique !. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, which will be without question our go to Parisien hotel from now on. The combination of very high standard and location would be extremely difficult to match at the same price point.
Our sincere thanks to all the staff at Hôtel Britannique for making our stay so perfect. We will see you again soon.

Everything was perfect. The measures taken by the hotel to prevent a COVID19 infection were very good and I felt safe. Everybody was really friendly and I received everything I wished immediately. From my window I could see the Eifeltower and Notre Dame. The public transport could not be better and also for shopping, dining or sightseeing everything is in walking distance. And all this for a really good rate! I would totally recommend this hotel!

This was our third visit to the Hotel Britannique. The location is outstanding. The rooms, though small by U.S. standards, were spotless and comfortable, the desk staff was, as always, was courteous and ready to help. Oh yes: the best pastries in Paris are just around the corner!

Hi,
There is another option that we recommend.
You can take the RER line B at the CDG and go directly to Chatelet - Les halles station. From there you look for the exit "sortie - place de Chatelet" or "Sortie Rue de Rivoli" and once you are on the street, the hotel is just 2 minutes walk.
The journey is direct, you do not have to change to another line.
You can also take a taxi, the rate is fixed - 57 Euros.
See you soon at the hotel!
Anna
