We stayed for 4 nights, and experienced a friendly and service-minded staff, nice room (Paris size), and clean bathroom. Excellent breakfast included, and very close to Louvre, and Metro Opera station. So far the best hotel, value for money, and we would like to stay the next Paris visit. I've been staying at the Horset on a regular basis for over 10 years. I bring small a group tour (mostly women) to Paris once or twice a year and always stay at the Horset. It truly is a home away from home. Amazing staff, friendly, helpful, seamless service. Pristine and clean. Love the location, but once you step in...

I stayed at the Hôtel l'Horset Opéra in Paris for a week in early December 2010. The four star hotel located at quiet side street about 500 meters from the Opera building. The location is perfect for walks in the city. Room is not very large (as expected in Paris), superbly designed and well equipped. Other benefits are WIFI at...

They work on the hotel's renovation during the night because their clientele would be in the way during the day. The construction noise keeps you awake. - The rooms are small and pricey, which is normal in Paris. The location close to the Opera is excellent, the view from my window with another wall at arm's length much less so....

I like the Premier L'Horset Opera because it is near a good reference point and busy street, but doesn't seem like it inside. Very helpful staff, comfortable room, (but tiny) and excellent breakfast.

I spent hours searching for a nice hotel in this location at a reasonable price. Finally, I booked this hotel after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor, and I'm glad I did! A hidden gem, this was a great find! Just a few steps from the main streets, very short walk to the Opera, Louvre, Place de Vendome, all the great...

2 of us went for a standard weekend trip to Paris. As predicted we were only in the hotel to sleep and eat breakfast but it easily met with all our requirements. I chose the hotel mainly based on trip advisor reviews, price and location. A pretty facade starts the experience followed by friendly staff who all speak English. Our...

just returned from a two night weeknd stay in Paris. The hotels central location is excellent being in close proximity to the major sites and ample bars and bistros. Bedrooms were of a decent size for a city centre hotel with very a large good quality bed and fully tiled bathroom. We were on the 4th floor so street noise...

The hotel is quite good in spite of the fairly high room price (280 euros / night). The location is fabulous just 3-5 minutes on foot to the Opera Garnier.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
