Right across the road from the Jardin de Plantes. We had a fourth floor room which was small but adequate. The room was cleaned every day. We were surrounded by places to eat. Reception staff were helpful with anything we asked. The lift was tiny but quite efficient. We walked two blocks to the Seine river to catch the Batobus, Would...

Good location , but small bathroom and shower price are a bit expensive but very good location , just in front of the jardin des plantes. Air Conditioning in the room negative point : corridor way to small , elevator and stair small too and the bathroom is way to small

Staff ok to a point Breakfast all from tin or packaged produce, nothing tasted fresh You could bounce the boiled eggs from Breaky off a wall & they wouldn't split Rooms tiny, bathroom small, cramped No English channels on room tv A number of sex shops on this street including 1 direct across from hotel Holes in carpet outside hotel...

Close to few metro stations, located in latin quarter! Close to some famous spots. Actually perfect location! We found it very nice and really affordable. Inside of the hotel, average rooms, clean but not so new or renovated. Helpful staff. If you don't mind a room without a view it's perfect. Would stay there again definitely!

When we got there the room were not ready. We had to wait for half an hour, then another half, then we just left for a walk for 2 hours. The room was small and old.We got breakfast across the street. Nothing really to call it bad, but nothing either to make me come back.

I stayed with my friend for a long weekend. The hotel was less than five minutes from the train and metro stations, with great services to anywhere you could want to go. The room, while compact, was immaculate and the staff were friendly and very helpful. I would say the entrance is easy to miss. As you leave the station,...

I visited Paris with my cousin for the Euro 2016 football tournament. On this basis the hotel met our needs. The hotel very well located at a reasonable price. The local metro station is just a few hundred yards away on the same street. Which provides access on a direct line to the Eiffel Tower and is a few stops...

The hotel is old, everything is falling apart. The bedding is very old and dirty. The rooms are noisy even in the back. No pressure on showers. The Personnal is kind and trying to do their best with the bad conditions. In one word : avoid this place. I travel once a mounth to Paris to visit my daughter and...

The room was small (as often in Paris), but clean. The position of the hotel is eccellent, and the area is very quiet, in front of the Jardin des Plantes. and near to many touristic areas, as Notre Dame, the Pantheon, the Luxemburg Gardens. The staff is kind.

Excellent hotel at a great location within walking distance to many restaurants, cafe's and bars, metro and park. Hotel is well managed and clean. Breakfast is somewhat expensive. Will stay here again at next visit to Paris.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
