I'm just back from a stay at the Derby Eiffel with 3 of my friends. We were lucky and had 2 adjoining rooms, both with views of the Eiffel Tower.

Myself and my wife stayed here in February on a 4 day stay. Hotel prices in paris are way over the top but we paid £69 per night for very clean, reasonable although small accomodation. Our room had a view of the eiffel tower and...More
We expected, on our budget, to have a smallish room and maybe some interesting accomodations in Paris. But we were still very aghast and disappointed in the Derby Eiffel.
The room itself was tiny- and while we hoped to at least have a view of...More
Just returned today and I used this site to select this hotel. As always a bit nervous about the selection of a hotel but the reviews here in general are correct. My girlfriend and I have been to Paris before and love it. We have...More
We stayed here for three nights as part of a package through Cresta (the less said about them, the better). The staff were friendly and there was always someone on reception. The hotel itself is nothing to write home about - small bedrooms, tiny bar,...More

With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and
politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.

The room has a thermostat but we weren't able to control it, it would need to go through the front desk. Yes, the rooms with a view all have a view of the Eiffel Tower. There are buildings between the hotel and the Eiffel Tower, but even the first floor has a view of a good portion of the top of the tower. The higher your room, the more of the tower you'll see from your window.
