I checked in on 14/07/21 on a prepaid booking. Upgraded directly with the hotel for a room with the Eiffle tower view for the fireworks. The lady who checked me in took €100 deposit for incidental which was paid on my card with pin and asked to return at 2.30pm when my room would be ready. I arrived an hour later. Ali was at the reception. Asked that I gave him my card in order to write down the digits, but I declined, stating that a deposit has already been charged, and showed my Revolut statement, so defeats the need... He insisted that there is no record on the system, I showed my receipt. He said he will get my card when I check out the next day. On 15/07/21 I checked out after 11am. Met a lovely man, Lilanne at the reception and another lady, Zaynab or so, who told that they did not need my card details, if an incidental has already been deducted. In the final account what I owe would be deducted - the upgrade and local tax and the balance would automatically go on my card. I thought that was more the sort of service I was used to with hotels and car rentals. Imagine my horror when my bank alerted me at 3.50pm (seemingly when Ali started his shift) that a fraudulent transaction had been detected on my card from the Pullman Eiffle Tower, I rang the hotel to clarify, and got the daftest excuses - 1. They did not realise I had checked out (the reason why I headed back to the hotel to investigate..) 2. Met Ali, the same person who insisted to have my card details written down, said he had charged my card because the agency who I booked through and had paid in full, had given him my card details to charge me twice in essence. A stupid lie, data protection implications aside... 3. They called a “manager” Morgane, who said their computer had cloned my card and and tried to get money out of my account as the agency had not paid them... Flabbergasted at such pitiful excuses, I rung the Guest Reservation (Agoda?) I booked through... They refuted their claim and said that the had sent the payment for my reservation on 9 July when I made the booking. They spoke to Morgane and Mbeye. Both daft enough not to see how repeating Ali’s dim reason to them... Mbeye wondered why I would think that Ali was trying to defraud me? As payment goes to Pullman hotel. Anyone who can lift my card payment details that only had my last for digits displayed is also capable of refunding that “error” payment/transaction into any card or account. I will let you deduce this for yourself. My instinct was right and I was glad I rung the booking agent. Never trust anyone who insists that you trust them. Sad and disappointing. But only affirmed the mistake of booking to go there in the first instance. Providing photos would be too humiliating for those involved. Especially Morgane and Mbeye who were trying to damage control. ID…
Excellent experience, magical Rooftop, it's a place full of charm, with its plant theme. The staff is charming and attentive Tasty and elegant dinner, with a harmonious menu. Dishes cooked with "art" to reveal all their flavor. The combination of vegetables, meat and fish is exquisite. It was a real moment of pleasure as much for the setting, the welcome, the courtesy of the staff as for our taste buds. We enjoyed ourselves The atmosphere is great The place to be.
In 2016 Mr Palmer booked a surprise vacation to stay at this hotel. The room was perfect with a balcony overlooking the Eiffel Tower. It is a short walk to the metro station and is very central to get around. The hotel is very modern and beds are super comfortable. Our only negative is when we informed the hotel of our engagement we thought maybe they would do something a little special but none the less the hotel is beautiful.
Me and my Mum went here for my birthday it was so lovely it was around christmas time we went and on my christmas they sent me a wee bag and some chocolates witch was so lovely the room was absolutely amazing and could"nt of asked for more i definately recomened it to couples and familes also very good veiw for photographers thank you for the lovely stay xx
Fantastic location, good food, spacious rooms, wonderful service. We were lucky to assist a special event, a show from our balcony. The windows have a view on the stage and a beautiful garden. The children had a special attention and gifts. Thank you , all staff.
