Hotel is located near the Eastern gate of Paris. Metro station is within a walking distance. The staff deserves a thanks giving. No kettles in the room but there is an open buffet at the breakfast hall. The rooms are narrow, like almost every hotel in Paris. Carpets are not so clean. Bathroom is narrow but cleanliness is perfect.
The staff is the least able to help, even if friendly and willing. Receptionist's mistake with parking, cost us 45 min delay, and being late for lunch. The hallways, rooms and room entrances are claustrofobically narrow and small, so are bathrooms, and shower cabins 65 x 65 cm ! (I am normal size, and hit my elbows inside it) room decor is tastefully, though not stylish, however needs TLC (renovation) desperately. Garage is scary, narrow, steep, labyrinth that will leave scars on your car! This ibis STYLES is not as good as ibis BUDGET nearby. Hotel doesn't deserve the STYLES label, instead SUPER BUDGET, and should decrease price accordingly . The area is far from attractive, even scare at night. The front management and cleaning staff should be replaced with able people with sense of cleanliness. Breakfast was the best part of the hotel stay, with gluten free bread on request, friendly and able staff there! Clean, freshly squeezed OJ, many food choices, even pancakes. …
We spent three days in the hotel, in a 'family suite' - two separate rooms that share a small hall. Very friendly personnel. The rooms are small, but that's Paris of course. Breakfast buffet is OK, but not a lot of choice. Close to the Porte de Montreuil metro stop on line 9 that brings you to the centre of Paris in 20 minutes or less. There are a lot of nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. Close to the Père Lachaise cemetery. The 20th arrondissement is quickly becoming a bohémien hotspot.
Unfortunately after being pick pocketed at the station this hotel might be better than i describe but Paris just didn't provide me with a good taste. The WiFi at the hotel is great , the bed setup is a bunk bed setup and on arrival the top bunk hadn't even been made up yet, the hotel is situated in lets be honest not a great part of town, miles away from everything and also a market pops up next to it and it does attract a lot of hawkers etc , but then when the police walk around they disappear very quickly. The bathroom needed a bit of work with the paint coming off the walls.
We stayed 2 nights in this nice clean hotel in a triple room. It's few minutes' walk to the Porte De Montriul Metro Station. There are supermarkets, grocery stores and eateries around. Staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful. We loved the free breakfast especially the fresh croissants. We had an excellent stay.
A bit off the mainstream traffic routes of Paris-centre but still located conveniently enough to be reached by the metro and city bus. Friendly staff, enough space in the rooms (for Paris of course), especially in the 3-bed room we had booked for our kids. Clean and peaceful. WIFI works well, breakfast is nice. We had a pleasant stay.
From entrance to exit staff were lovely. Rooms were family suite and were clean, comfortable and roomy. Breakfast was good. Tea and coffee available at reception 24 hrs. Great transportation links. A fairly short walk to Pere Lachaise
We spent 5 days in Paris last May and we couldn't have asked for better. I had originally booked a surprise stay for my father in January, but he decided not to go and the hotel staff was super friendly and helpful, letting me postpone the visit with different guests so that I wouldn't lose my booking. They were great and helpful for our whole stay in Paris. The rooms are very small, especially the bathroom, but hey, it's Paris, why would you stay in all the time? :) I would only add a few more hangers for the clothes and maybe a couple of shelves. Great position as well, 2 minutes walk from the Porte de Montreuil Underground station.
the hotel is close to the metro station NATION. The area is ok but not glamorous. I think it could be described as a residential area. Connexion with the heart of Paris is good. The hotel is closed to a hospital so there are some ambulance noise from time to time. The hotel room is "petit" but perfect for a short break. beds are comfortable . Very clean. The best is the staff and the breakfast. The lady attending the breakfast has always a smile and she is extremely helpful.
Visiting a friend in the area and this hotel was perfect for what we needed. The hotel is modern and the room was good. Twin room with shower room which was clean and compact but just what we needed. Comfy bed and plenty of plugs and mirrors. Breakfast was good and although not a vast selection was just right for what we needed. Overall I would recommend.
