Very good hotel for solo travelers/couples in a picturesque neighborhood with a nearby metro station. The hotel room was big enough for my liking with a queen sized bed, wall mounted TV and small desk. Only a little bit of noise coming from the hallway when someone enters his/her room. The bathroom was small with a very small shower area...

The price is good. Location isn't bad. A bunch of shops and restaurants. It's clean. The only thing rooms are way too small. If you're Alone they will put you in a smaller room. The bed is made for a child not and adult. And the shower is very small as well. I could barely turn around to wash myself,...

Considering how expensive hotels in Paris can run and my last trip to Paris being in a tiny a single room with shared bathroom cost more then three nights here my expectations were low going in, I was really pleasantly surprised, I contacted hotel staff right after booking about mobility issues they made sure we were located on the first...

This hotel was very good for the price. Reception staff very helpful. We had a very nice room not cramped even with 3 of us sharing. Spotlessly clean bathroom small but lots of hot water and towels. Kettle etc for making drinks. The metro station is 400 metres away where you can connect to any of the sights easily. Although...

We used a Groupon deal to stay at the hotel for 1 night bed and breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly, letting us check in early and advising us on transport links to the city centre. We had a double room which was extremely clean and comfortable. For a small hotel their was a good range...

Small, clean hotel. Our room had a great view of the Eiffel Tower. The rooms as very small, but it did meet our needs. The bathroom was "clean" however the caulking in the shower was full of mold. Everyone who worked the front desk were very pleasant, friendly and welcomed us with a smile each time we returned, often asking...

This hotel is located 7 mins of walk from 2 metro station of 2 different lines (4, 13), which makes it very easy to access all city's attractions. The rooms are very small but very clean and tidy, with a great Parisian streen view from 4th floor, and aside from a fridge did not lack anything at all. Breakfast was...

This is an "average" hotel, the sort of place that is increasingly difficult to find in Paris pitched, as it is, mid-way between the mega-expensive 5-star hotels that abound and the other side of the same coin represented by the dodgy flea-pits that that still try to fleece their unsuspecting guests. In short, the Hotel Montparnasse-Alesia is more "Alessia" than...

as hotels in paris were mostly very expensive than their quality, this hotel was worthy in my personal opinion. room is kind of small of course like business hotel, but it is okay to stay if you dont expect high class expensive hotels. room was clean, i met no insect at all, water pressure was good. amenities there were toothbrushes,...

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and it was way too much. If I had to spend a night more in 2 by 3 meter room, I think that I would have gone crazy. There is barely enough space to turn around, let alone open your bags. Hygiene was also not great and I could clearly hear the...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
