I stayed with my husband in Hotel du Moulin vert for 4 nights. We paid 70 euros per night which is quite an amount for the very few facilities of the hotel. The neighborhood is amazing, it is in a street called Moulin vert, 7 minutes walk to the metro station (Pernety) which takes you to good attractions in Paris...

I already visited this hotel three times in a year and every time I was taking my friends with them so every time we were booking 2-3 rooms. This hotel is ok except the fact that needs a good renovation! Since by my nature I am loyal to people n places I visit n I like the fourth time I...

Our stay here was enjoyable. Location is great (park, many shops/restaurants/bars and metro nearby). Staff was friendly. Our room was showing some age, but for me this was not a concern (instead it added to the atmosphere).

Except the location, nothing added value to my stay. Cons: 1. A pale and tired welcome followed by a long travel in the elevator. 2. A small room with a dirty carpet. 3. Booked two single beds, and they are not even. One bed is nothing but a sump. 4. Shower that randomly gives too hot or too cold water,...

We stayed here when we were in Paris during Euro 2016 and found it perfect for what we needed. The staff, Gerrard and the maids were all very helpful, polite and made our stay a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Next time I am in Paris I will definitely be back!

Of all the staff, the manager should be the most courteous, but not Gerard. A rather cocky sort right from our check in, which was two hours early, and we failed to pay for the early check in, so waited in the small lounge for a bvit before he got annoyed and had our room ready, telling us he needed...

Booked this hotel for a triple room at almost full price through Expedia, very disappointed! The room was small, cramped with three twin size beds and a small table. The bathroom was tiny with a holed bathtub and threadbare towels. The sagging mattresses were covered with skimpy bedding. The carpet was threadbare and dirty. As there was no AC or ventilation...

If you are looking for a Marriott or The Ritz the Moulin is obviously not your kind of hotel. But ...I love this little hotel. My daughter used to live just across the street!! that`s how I discovered it. Spent there many times and the last one was in May last year. As I said the location is perfect: far...

Inexpensive, quaint, and a short walk to so many good restaurants and the train. Obviously hasn't been remodeled in many years... Our room had orange shag carpeting and furniture straight out of the 70's but in my opinion that just adds some charm. The staff were extremely friendly and pointed us in the right direction every time we needed a...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
