Wifi is free but very slow, rooms are clean but noisy. Shower is old and outdated. Breakfast is ok but not special. During breakfast the crew is quite busy with constant chatting to each other quite unprofessional. Positive is the location but there are many hotels in this area. Dont pay more than 150 night is not worth more.

The kadet opera, is an average ok hotel. Location is reasonable as just across the street is the metro 7, that will connect you almost anywhere in Paris within minuets. On the other hand many hotels add to thier name "opera" as some kind of central location quality and are not so close. The same for the kadet which is... More

Great location walk to Pancras Train station. Reception outstanding helped us with restuarants, transportation, information about sightseeing. The hotel breakfast that came free was amazing worth at least 50 Euro's a day. Enjoyed our stay immensely if ever in Paris again will definitely stay again. This 4 star hotel was a 4.5 stay out of 5.

This hotel is located in a great location! Metro is close by, restaurants close by, shopping near by. You can walk the streets of Paris or use the local transportation. The staff is friendly and very helpful at the resort. I have stayed here in the past and will definitely use it again.

On arrivel you right away feel very welcome and you get the "right choice feeling". During our 3 day stay, the staff did everything to give us the best service. The room was clean with very comfirtable beds. Breakfast is nice and the location of the hotel is really good. 1 minute walk to the Metro and then you are... More

Fantastic room, great location, nice courtyard, great breakfast, friendly staff. Very nice neighborhood and very close to the metro stop so there is no need to take taxis anywhere. Good restaurants nearby.

this is a great place with a charming garden. Very reasonably priced and convenient to a metro station. Safe neighborhood with nearby restaurants. Not as much traffic as some locations. Rooms were clean and comfortable, not luxurious, but I just want a clean, safe place to stay.

Our family consists of 2 adults & 2 kids (8, 10). We stayed at the opera cadet for 5 nights. The rooms were pretty small but we managed just fine. This hotel was in a great spot. We strolled the streets everyday and had plenty of choice for restaurants. The staff were very helpful, they even provided us with a... More

The hotel is perfect. It's just outside of the more noisy and touristy area of Paris, you'll see more families and working class here. The street it's located on is near the metro, which is the easiest and best way to get around Paris. The street also has a cheese shop, a meat shop, a fois gras shop, a few... More

In close proximity to the Eurostar Paris station and right across the road from the Cadet Metro station. There Re quite a few good restraunts nearby or a McDonald's if you need it. (didn't try it so I can't rate) The hotel is clean and in fairly good repair. There were 3 of us and the room was a bit... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
