Great location, near the Gallerie Lafayette We came with a baby and a 11 y.o and had the suite, everything was perfect EXCEPT for the curtain in the bath which was stinky ! It was smelling mould and it seems like they didn't change from the previous guests 🤢for £400 a night, I expected better than that! Plus the breakfast...

Everything about this hotel is great. We were here for a conference and I had a good stay. Some of my colleagues had issues with their check in experience, but it was a busy time, however I got my room even though I arrived early. My room was nice, very classic Parisian and well presented. I really liked the breakfast...

A beautiful property and great location in the heart of Paris. The rooms are plush and quiet. The executive lounge has great views of the Eiffel tower and has a good selection of snacks and drinks. Nice high end restaurant in the hotel and breakfast spot in the morning.

I primarily only stay at Marriott properties, and this property met the standards and expectations that all Marriott properties should have. Here are some pointers to make your experience...

The fire alarm went off twice today while I was resting. We had to leave the hotel for several minutes in our pajamas. Both times were false alarms. Luckily they gave us a crappy room in the first floor.

My husband and I visited this hotel as part of an extension from a Viking River cruise. The staff was friendly and professional, but the hotel was old and needed a lot of work. We were taken to our room and after a while we realized that the room was very warm. There did not appear to be a thermostat...

We are having an excellent stay so far with our family of 5. The location is excellent: 1 mile walk to the louvre, 1 mile to montmartre, 2 miles to eiffel tower; opera and shopping 2 blocks away, lots of nearby cafes, and flanked by numerous metro stops. We have 2 rooms. The front desk honored our bed requests and...

We spent seven nights here, in a great suite overlooking the blvd. Staff was very helpful, securing shuttle confirmations and providing champagne for our anniversary. Location is terrific, close access to Galleries Lafayette for upscale browsing. We paid additional for the executive lounge and would not do this again. For the price, you can wander the neighborhood for your own...

The Opera Ambassador is a very pleasant place to stay, in a pretty good location near the Opera. You can walk fairly easily to the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs Elysees, and the Place de la Concorde (and of course the Opera House), and there are several metro stations nearby for traveling elsewhere in the city. There is also good...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
