And there's more to tell. Promised internet connection failed to work, except at 5 in the morning....and although the price was inflated they were prepared to charge extra for every small request. Example: extra towels!!!! Equipment in the kitchenette...was inadequate, not even a coffee maker...and not so much as a sachet of sugar or a supply of bottled water. I...

A great location making it easy to get around Paris and handy to lots of great little bars and restaurants. The room was small but it met our requirements. There is a little theatre at the front of the lane leading to the hotel and a lot of youths congregate around the area. It seemed safe and you don’t feel...

Laid back in bed & looked at Sacre Coeur at night from the room we were in, comfortable but expensive apartment hotel in a trendy part of Paris. Staff were excellent & the facilities were good, only real complaint was the internal spiral stair case to the living area, clean & neat, would stay again, If travelling by car ask...

Location: On a little sidestreet off Blvd Rouchechart. We arrived by Eurostar at Gare du Nord, and since the taxi line was huge, we walked about 10-15 min to get here. Going back to Gare du Nord for the RER airport train, we took the Anvers metro (some stairs) back, with a bit of a walk from the connecting La...

Nice hotel with GREAT staff, however the location/ Montmartre in general was not somewhere i would stay again, I did not feel safe walking around after sunset. The walls in the room were thin (i have read lots of reviews of other hotels and have found this to be the case throughout Paris) and we could hear everything, and i...

The location of the hotel is awesome. If you get to stay on higher floors, the view is too good out of the window. Receptionists are very kind and gentle too. The service is nice. Overall I would like to rate 8.5/10

We stayed here on our honeymoon for more than a month and it was brillant. The room was a cute little apartment, the staff couldnt do enough for us. It was spacious, clean, quiet and they provided a welcome pack of goodies for use in the kitchen and bathroom. Just wonderful :) Two minutes walk from Sacre Couer, we made...

I always had an impression of spacious rooms when I stayed in this same hotel more than a decade and a half ago. Back then, I was alone and in training for more than a month. Since then and many travels after, I have stayed in small and smaller and even tiny hotels in Paris to realize that space in...

My husband and I went to this hotel for our honeymoon and were very pleased. First, it is a very quiet location with no trafic around. The room was very nice (we had a studio for 2) with a little kitchenette that was very useful. Plates, glasses, towels, sheets are included and everything is clean when you arrive. Since it...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
