The Ducs de Bourgogne Hotel is lauded for its superb location, which places guests within easy reach of attractions, public transit, and dining. The staff's friendliness and efficiency are frequently praised, enhancing the stay for many travelers. While the hotel's value is generally appreciated, some note that prices can fluctuate with city events.
Guests consistently enjoy the well-maintained amenities, including modern bathrooms with Japanese toilets and a delicious breakfast. However, some guests find the room sizes to be on the smaller side, a common trait in the area.

Detailed Reviews
I will start by saying that the low score reviews might have been done a long time ago...I say that because this hotel decor is new and I see old photos of it still around the net. We had a quiet, very clean and spacious room (suite) with green/beige/black tasteful decoration; comfy bed; a bathroom with rain shower, douche and bench with shining metals. The bathroom is connected to the TV sound, so you don't miss the news. They pay attention to offering robe and slippers (must haves in my opinion), Nuxe honey toiletries, plenty of towels. Their in-room coffee station (Nespresso machine) also offers a good selection of quality teas. The frigobar is stored with essentials.
The breakfast was satisfying with a good selection of items and the room where you have the meal has new yellow chairs, not the old wooden ones you see in some pictures. Staff is very welcoming.
Now the location of this hotel is amazing. It is near Louvre,Atelier Brancusi, Pont Neuf, Notre Dame, Pompidou, all the big names shops (it is near a mall) and metro station! Restaurants, bars, and cafes are plenty (like in the same street!). No complaints from us. :)

We stayed here during the union strikes in December 2019 and the location made us enjoy our trip without any issues. We were able to walk all places within a few minutes and even enjoyed the Christmas markets also. The street is lively with places to eat within a few steps. We didn't have breakfast at the Hotel though as so many options were close. There is ample closet space for your things to unpack with a nice safe for your valuables. The rooms also have usb chargers so you don't need to have an adapter for different plugs.

Therefore, despite the strikes, our guests can enjoy the city normally. We are very delighted that you liked the hotel and your room and we hope that we will welcome you again very soon. We could not have asked for a better stay while in Paris!
My Wife and I were on our honeymoon, after COVID caused us to rebook twice, and after some research, decided to pick this hotel due to its good reviews and location in the 1st district. First, I will say that our flight into Paris had us arriving at 8 am local time. Because check-in was not until 3 pm, I was able to email the hotel and they had a room available for us early. Not only that, but they provided us with some amazing treats and a welcome note, as they knew I was on my honeymoon!
Even though it is a smaller hotel (both in room numbers and room sizes), the staff was super friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. The room was cleaned promptly any time we needed it (we were there for 7 nights), had great views, was not noisy at all, and was very comfortable. The bed was a little firm for my tastes, but my Wife said it was great.
Overall, while there were hotels cheaper and more expensive, this one was worth every penny! The location was great, the staff was perfect, and it was everything my Wife and I could have asked for out of a hotel in a country overseas where we didn't speak more than a few phrases of the local language. Based on our stay, we will be back soon and will be staying here every time!

We had a really lovely stay in this Hotel
It is in a super location, minutes from metro lines and RER station. The rooms are very comfortable and the bedding, furnishngs and bathrooms are finished to a very high standard. We had two rooms overlooking the street and when the windows were shut the street sounds noise were blocked out
All the staff were so helpful and efficient and seemed to enjoy answering any questions we had. The breakfast was varied, plentiful and very tasty.
Would definitely go back to this hotel and it is worth every penny.
Good job all round.

The hotel is in a very nice area that has the Parisian chic you wish for.
The rooms are small but comfortable and there is enough space to store your luggage. The bathroom is also very well equipped.
The breakfast room is in the basement and the hotel offers food that is very tasty and everyone will be able to find something.
The louvre and a couple of other things are in walking distance and a metro station for all other trips ist right next to the hotel.
all in all the hotel is very nicely designed and small details really make the flair of the hotel perfect.
We enjoyed our stay very mich!

All over quite satisfied. I had a good sleeb in a very good bed. The reception was very friendly and professional. But the interned did not work in my room. I have to admit I did not give them a chance to save the problem since I arrived late at night and did not want to spend any time on this. I used my phone instead. But generally, nowadays, I expect that in a **** hotel wifi/internet work without any problems or complications. What I don't need is a Japanese toilet with integrated shower and dryer... And one more negative point: I basically don't like to have breakfast in a basement. If I had known this I would have booked without it and would have had my cappuccino and croissant in one of the lovely cafés nearby.

During my recent trip to Paris, I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Ducs de Bourgogne, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. This charming hotel offered an excellent combination of convenience, value for money, and proximity to some of the city's most renowned attractions.
The location of Hotel Ducs de Bourgogne couldn't be better. Situated close to the main shopping street Rue de Rivoli, it was a shopper's paradise, and I found myself strolling through the fashionable boutiques and charming cafes at every opportunity. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to attractions like the Pompidou Center and various museums made it a perfect base for exploring the cultural gems of Paris.
Transportation was a breeze as well, with the hotel being conveniently located near the metro station. This allowed me to easily access other parts of the city and saved me valuable time during my sightseeing adventures.
As for the hotel itself, it's housed in an old building with a lot of character, which adds to the overall charm of the place. While there was a faint smell that I noticed upon entering the room, it wasn't overly bothersome, and I quickly got used to it during my stay. Besides, in a city with so much history, a subtle hint of the past only added to the authenticity of the experience.
The room I stayed in was comfortable and well-maintained, providing all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. Considering the cost, I found the room to be a great value for money. After a day of exploring the city, it was a welcoming haven to come back to.
One of the standout features of Hotel Ducs de Bourgogne is undoubtedly its location. Being able to step out of the hotel and find myself amidst the vibrant streets and iconic landmarks was a huge advantage. It allowed me to make the most of my time in Paris and truly immerse myself in the city's charm.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a hidden gem in the heart of Paris, Hotel Ducs de Bourgogne is an excellent choice. With its prime location near shopping streets, cultural attractions, and easy access to transportation, it offers a perfect balance between convenience and value for money. While it may be housed in an old building with a slight scent, the overall experience and top-notch location make it a worthy choice for your stay in the City of Love.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Ducs, the staff was phenomenal and accommodating. They were all extremely nice and helped us with a handful of inconveniences that arose. They provide complimentary water with free refills at the front desk. Even though they were fully booked they made the time to create a special experience for every single guest.

The hotel design is so beautiful and relaxing. Even though the room was a bit small, it was always clean and had whatever a visitor may need (except for maybe a place to hang out towels in the bathroom, you may add some:) ). The breakfast was so good, I could have eaten it all day long. Also the people in the reception and in the dining room were so nice and welcoming, helped us with everything we needed and more (from adding toilet papers to the room, to many restaurants recommendations around).
Definitely will come back to this very hotel next time Im in Paris, and will recommend friends to visit too!!!
Thank you for the lovely time :)

We stayed at this hotel for a week. It was an excellent choice given its location, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff.
The location is excellent, very central, just a few minutes from the main monuments (Notre Dame, Petite Chapelle, Conciergerie, Louvre, Center G. Pompidou, Hotel de Ville, ...) and a few minutes from one of the main metro stations. Breakfast was included in the rate, with everything we considered necessary and without missing the croissants!
Couldn't have chosen better! Excellent option in terms of quality/price and certainly contributed to a wonderful holiday in Paris.

As seen below it is a very short walk from Les Halle's station on the RERB train to the hotel. Get off at Chatelet-Les Halles and look for the Porte du Pont Nue exit. Walk toward Rue du Rivoli.
From CDG I believe you can go directly to Chatelet Les Halles train station. No transfer needed. At least I can confirm that Chatelet to CDG is direct on RER B. The hotel is less than a five minute walk, so if it is your destination, certainly no other form of transport needed. If you are referring to getting to the bridge itself-it is about another five minute walk from the hotel. But you would also go to Chatelet and walk from there.
Dear Guest,
As per the answer of Dimitra from Greece, we do not have any fitness in our hotel but our hotel sister - Maison Albar Le Pont Neuf - 10meters away has one and all our guests have a free access to it. Just let us know when you'll be here - we will tell them. See you soon, best regards. Nathalie DuPont - Hotel Manager
As everyone has said - dead easy from the train! SO close to station exit.
