This hotel ripped us off by charging us for an extra night after we checked out. When I tried to get it refunded they hung up on me and ignored my emails. I wish I had known at the time that I could've got VISA to chase them on my behalf as what they did was fraudulent and wrong. But...

It is not a three star hotel! Not even a hostel I would say! Don't go there! It is definitely waste of money and nerves!!! NO WI FI and very very very rude staff including the ''manager''! They tried to make people stupid saying that we all cannot connect to wi-fi as we don't know how (!) and then when...

The great thing about this hotel is the location. It is probably one of the best places for you to be in Paris, with a walking distance from several sightseeings and good restaurants and shops. This is not a luxury hotel, far from it, but the room is large enough (considering Paris), decent and clean. Another great thing is the...

So close from La Madeleine (church), and Madeleine metro station, walking distance from Place de la Concorde, good breakfast buffet, good service, small rooms (as usual in France). Go to Fauchon next to Madeleine tren station and taste the french gourmet products. In this metro station you will find L'Open Tour stop (hop on hop off tours).

Spent a few nights at the Newton Opera and despite the very small room (normal in Paris unless you want to downgrade quality or upgrade your budget considerably), I enjoyed my stay very much. Everything was cute and turn of the century (the previous one) in styling except the bathroom that was modern and very functional (again, for its small...

So I made the mistake of not checking TripAdvisor before booking the Newton Opera - if I had I would not have booked. While the staff were polite, and the room was adequate (to the extent of having a bed and a shower), the communal spaces were utterly filthy. General cleanliness was terrible, and the staining on the carpets, on...

This hotel exploits unsuspecting tourists. OK, it is in a good location but clearly the hotel has had no investment or even basic maintenance in many, many years. Stupid me for not reading reviews on trip advisor which describe quite clearly how appalling this place is. In 10 years of regularly visiting Paris this is the worst accommodation I have...

The Hotel was convenient for the Place de Madeleine however it is the dirtiest hotel that I have ever stayed in - mould in the bathroom, cracked basin, all the carpets badly stained. The photos are extremely misleading. Overall the hotel is quite disgusting and should in my opinion be closed down!

This hotel was the base for two nights on a quick trip to Paris. Initial ( female) reception staff was most helpful with booking the Openbus tickets. Room was on fourth floor facing street. Oh dear! Carpet in hall was stained and tatty and the room itself was airless and tired looking. Air conditioner made minimal difference even when encouraged...

I ended up staying at this hotel with my two colleagues when our company was a little late making reservations and so this was the only place available at short notice. We arrived about 9pm on a Sunday night and were greeted by a very unfriendly man on reception who looked a little annoyed that we, heaven forbid, wanted to...
