So conveniently located, yet quiet. Just 1.5 blocks from George V metro stop and Champs Elysees, but quiet, elegant. Very friendly staff, small and personal, fine breakfast buffet. Easy walk to dozens of restaurants.
On first impressions the hotel fransior has an old beautiful French charm. Our room was beautiful, clean and had a very comfortable bed. With an old building not everything is perfect, I.e. the hot water is not consistent; takes ages to heat up and it...More
I'm lucky to travel the world on business and I stay in some nice hotels. This is no grand business hotel, but was a perfect small hotel for our weekend break in Paris. Great location with Metro, shops, bars, restaurants within a 5 min walk....More
Great location about 1 minute walk to Louis Vuitton, Armani, Hermes and others. Great eating very close and and great breakfast downstairs. Very boutiqueish type hotel. Staff was wonderful. Ate around the corner at the Four Seasons a few times. I thought it was more...More
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This
neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.

Ahhhh, there is a perfect spot just down the street, "Philippe et Jean-Pierre" ... and it was recommended by the hotel as a locally owned and managed dining spot appropriate for lunch or dinner. We had dinner and one of the two named owners (Philippe et Jean-Pierre) ran the front of the house and the other the kitchen. We found it to be excellent. Look for the TripAdvisor rankings, you'll be pleased.
