This was a lovely place to spend a few days in Paris. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful for directions to places to see and eat. Our room was spacious with a big comfy bed, the bathroom had a separate bath and shower. There were plenty of restaurants very close

We stayed here between Christmas and New Year for a three night stay. The hotel had scaffolding outside when we arrived but the hotel had made it festive with Christmas decorations hanging outside. When we checked in, we were upgraded to a larger double room which was a nice

Stayed here over new year, when we arrived we walked straight past the hotel as there was scaffolding all outside covering the hotel. No pre warning or applogy for the appearance when we arrived. Our view from the window was just scaffolding which was really annoying. The tiles

Dear Madam COUTTS, Regarding scaffolding, please trust in me we would prefer to do without, regarding the astronomical amount that it costs (60 000 €), but the City of Paris imposes it on us. We had well signposted the hotel with an outside sign and an lighting Christmas' decorations arch on the scaffolding... otherwise and considering the size of our street, if you had walked 10/15 meters further to find us there would be the maximum that our street allows you. However I have good news for you, they DISASSEMBLE scaffold tomorrow on January, thursday the 10th. We have also apologized twice for any inconvenience scaffolding may cause: there is a display in the elevator, as well as in your room to invite you moreover to keep your window closed, for security reasons. Nevertheless thanks to Early check-in (we OFFER you) you had every opportunity to ask us to change your room upon your arrival. We would be pleased to give you a side court room or in the upper floors that were not concerned by the scaffolding. But you did not make any comment either on arrival or on your departure. It is a shame to wait until you left to complain on the net, while we are here to help you and make your stay tas pleasant as possible Moreover, except for the view (which we do not have anyway in our hotel and which we never promote) you could not be disturbed by renovation work, because workers were on vacation from December the 24th to January the 07th... so during your whole stay (from Dec. 31st to Jan. 03th). As for the your neighbors noise, our hotel is indeed soundproof, however we can not guarantee all other guests' propriety. Especially on a New Year's Evening night, conducive to the party and some abuses. This is indeed the only night you had neighbors. So the best we can do is to do apologize on their behalf, but unfortunately do not have much power on incivilities of each other. You should have called the night who would ask them to calm down and gain on discretion. We are also here for that. I understand your disappointment in seeing scaffolding, nevertheless I find it hard to conceive that it could have ruin all your stay and I find it cruel to blame us on Tripadvisor for a scaffolding imposed on us, and especially that it will be gone soon tomorrow We have accepted all your requests before your arrival: Early Check In for FREE, a GRACEFUL upgrad in room with BATH as you have requested, but could not access your last request for Junior Suite because we were Fully Booked on the evening of DECEMBER the 31st. Let me find it dishonest to blame us for these wrong reasons, because you did not get what you wanted. A-S ROLLAND

This is a great little hotel just 2 mins walk from Richelieu Drouot Metro station on the 9 line. It’s in a good location in the opera district. The hotel is clean and comfortable, however as it’s a small and compact it was noisy when people were coming and going from there

We recently stayed at Hotel Icone while visiting Paris for a few days. The location was excellent; it's central, near major attractions and within metres of a metro stop. The rooms are clean and tidy. The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.

Hi how do I get to the hotel from CDG airport using the metro/train? Thank you :)
dear Miss Lorel, It is quiet easy to reach us from CDG Airport. You have 3 solutions : 1) ROISSY BUS : 11€ per person, till OPERA. Then either you walk (about 15 minutes) or use the metro – one station only – Line 8 (Direction : CRETEIL) from OPERA to "RICHELIEU DROUOT" Station 2) TRAIN RER B from CDG to “GARE DU NORD” change : About 10€ per person, Then change for the Metro: Line 4 (Direction : MONTROUGE) from Gare du Nord till “Strasbourg St Denis” change + Line 9 (Direction : Pont de Sèvres) from “Strasbourg St Denis” station to “Richelieu- Drouot” STOP 3) TAXI -> the easiest way (‘official’ waiting line outside the airport) : max 60€ DEPENDING ON TRAFFIC Looking Forward to welcome you at ICONE

Yes, it does albeit not to the top floor. That top floor is one room but requires a stair climb after the elevator. All other floors can be accessed by the elevator.

Hi, I've only ever flown into CDG as my Air France flight doesn't take me direct to Orly, however, directions from the CDG is really well signposted and so easy to navigate. Final destination if you are staying at Hotel Icone would be the Richelieu Drouot as it is only about 5 minutes walk away. Enjoy!
