Friendly staff, lovely to have a complementary glass of wine in the lobby after sightseeing. We had been traveling for a while so getting a free load of laundry done was very convenient. Convenient to the metro & commuter rail at Place de la Nation, although over all it is pretty far from most tourist sights. Room was larger than I expected for Paris. Would stay here again if I had business/friends in this neighborhood.

Well, I don't usually write reviews (This is what I read in one of the review I came across while my hotel hunt. And now I know how the reviewer felt) This place deserves no less than a full 5 stars. What a commendable dedication towards a good experience for its guests. I stayed for 4 nights and Grand Hotel Francais was flawless throughout, infact, I would strongly recommend this lovely hotel for following reasons - Right next to rue de boulets metro and bus stop which is connected to Nation metro station which has a wonderful connectivity to all of paris (+ direct line to Disneyland and Eiffel ) - You don't get to see more humble and helping staff in the hospitality sector. I mean what a lovely team. Would like to mention Ziad, who was so helping and welcoming. We are so elated to have stayed at your place. Also, Kudos to Aghiles and Juba for making all our odd requirements heard!! - One of the safest localities in Paris. You get to see families and couples roaming around till late night. Super safe for families or solo travelers. - Very neat and sumptuous breakfast. Although there could be a few more options but thats not even close to a complaint. It was fantastic. - Its got everything around. A supermarket right across the road, Restaurants and Bakeries around and staying so close to a metro station was a luxury. - There was a little problem and it wasn't even their fault, and they apologised with a complimentary Bottle of wine with glasses which we took to The Eiffel Tower later :) DON'T HAVE A SECOND THOUGHT. BOOK THIS ONE. STAY ASSURED. Thanks, Deepak…

Look no further……. This Hotel ticks all the boxes for the perfect Paris accommodation for a city break! This was our 3rd time at this Hotel and everything remains as good as ever! Book direct with the Hotel for the best deals. Also Assia and the team are very helpful with any email queries which are answered promptly. We received the usual very friendly welcome from Zyad and were delighted with our upgraded room and surprise gift which was much appreciated! In our experience all the rooms are traditional style (slightly small, but for Paris this is usual) . Rooms are very well maintained and immaculately clean and everything is efficient and works! Bathrooms have been updated and showers and facilities are excellent. Our room (Privilege) was great, with a pleasant street view overlooking Boulevard Voltaire and the hustle and bustle of Parisian daily life. The room was totally sound proofed for a peaceful night. Wi-Fi was excellent and air con very efficient. Also a coffee maker, gowns and slippers and fridge (with Evian water) provided. Breakfast was self service and we appreciated the quality fresh orange juice, croissants and cold meat and cheese selection. The Hotel is situated in a typical Parisian local residential area where you can experience the real Paris away from the tourist attractions. There is a nearby local market on certain days, a supermarket across the road and lots of great bars and restaurants nearby. We can recommend Dame Nation just around the corner or Bistro Paul Bert a few minutes walk away. The Hotel is very near Rue de Boulets Metro Station and is just 10 minutes walk to Nation where there are more connections making it easy to reach any part of the city. We can thoroughly recommend the Grand Hotel Francais as one of the best places to stay in Paris!…

Our 12 night stay at this hotel was fabulous. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was extremely clean, bed very comfortable and views from the balcony were wonderful. Sunsets especially.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It is in a great, quiet location (felt safe at night) next to a metro station. The staff were really welcoming, the room was small, but clean and tidy and had everything we needed (tea/coffee/toiletries). The decor was modern and functional. The view from your window, of beautiful old railings, plain trees and old buildings was beautiful. The staff are what makes this place. Very friendly, jovial and welcoming. The breakfasts are brilliant with good quality food and loads of it. I brought gluten free stuff with me, but the guy working there said I needn't have and that he'd have been happy to go and buy me bread. It was also really reasonably priced. I'd definitely go back the next time I'm in Paris.

We always feel like we are coming home, when we arrive at Grand Hotel Francais. The smiles, the service and the quality of the whole experience has been consistently superb for the 13 years that we have been visiting this fine establishment. We cold not recommend it highly enough.

We had an excellent stay. The staff were really helpful with a problem that we had (nothing to do with the hotel). The metro is nearby and easy to use and visit the centre of Paris. Our room was clean and tidy and breakfast was nice. Thank you so much for a lovely trip I would thoroughly recommend this hotel, it is much nicer than staying at a chain. Jacob

The hotel is located in a nice neighbourhood close two two main metro lines that take you directly to city center. Staff is very helpful and extremely friendly. Rooms and bathroom are very small but they manage to keep it spotless clean and still provide you with all amenities you need. No parking available in the hotel.

Happy happy happy! Clean. Good and kind service. Super madrassas. Good neighborhood. Metro or walking distance if you like to experience Paris on foot. Only minus I a little noise from the street, but hey – you are in Paris 🥰
