Love this hotel though very expensive - great room, good service, excellent areas - all very good and walking distance to everywhere, including the L'Olympia where we saw Leonard Cohen. Two drawbacks - the scrambled egg at breakfast was tasteless and the Internet hardly ever...More

Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and

It is one stop away on the Metro to Chatelet Les Halles - the hotel is literally outside the station if you take the correct exit - the street name of the hotel is Place Margeurite de Navarre so if you look out for that exit, when you come up the escalator and reach the top, the hotel entrance is behind you.

Not directly to the hotel. My day trip tour bus dropped my off a few blocks away and I could see the hotel sign from the location they dropped me. I took the RER and metro a lot as it was right downstairs. You need to know exactly which line you are taking and follow the signs and follow the forum signs to return. The tunnel system here is huge so you need to know the line and knowing the final destination of the line usually helps you get the right direction track, but they also show all the stops at the entrance to the stop.
