Hotel's Favourite
I rarely leave a review on TA, I think I average about one per year - and I only write them when a place really impresses me. Hence.
My wife and I along with our two kids aged 9 and 6 stayed here the second weekend of December for three nights, Saturday to Monday. The purpose of our visit was twofold, a couple of days sightseeing in beautiful Paris and a day spent visiting Eurodisney.
So - location wise this hotel could not have been more perfectly placed had we done it by hand. The Chatelet - Les Halles metro station is on a short, direct line from CDG Airport, and to our delight, it is also on the direct line out to Disneyland. The cherry on the top is the fact that the hotel is quite literally 15 metres (and no roads needing crossing) from the Metro station entrance itself.
It is built at the meeting points of six or seven roads and thus there is a straight line walk to the Seine at Pont Neuf, Notre Dame, the Louvre etc. So slap bang in the middle of town - and with numerous restaurants, bistros and pavement cafes in every direction. We ate locally and - being Scottish - we were quite pleased too at prices cheaper than in Edinburgh and a lot cheaper than London. Quel surprise.
The hotel staff, and I mean all of them, were polite, helpful and kind. Lovely.
We were B&B and the selection was great, plenty of options and not the plain ‘Continental’ I feared. An omelette chef on hand and plenty of bacon and eggs if thats your thing. Fresh fruit, bread, cheese and cured hams to die for - its all there and all fresh.
Our room was an upgrade and whilst not exactly spacious (as is the way in Paris), it never felt cramped. We had a KS bed and a fold down settee for the kids. A lovely view out onto the street.
Ps - on the Monday visit to Disney, it was our daughters 6th birthday. One of the Staff must have noticed because - when we returned that evening - they had put up decorations in the room specific to a 6th birthday. C’est beau.

Our nonprofit foundation recently hosted a 2 day business meeting in Atelier H at the Novotel Paris Les Halles. The meeting space was very clean, modern and well-maintained and our attendees had nothing but positive feedback about the venue. Guillaume, the Atelier H event manager, was very attentive and helped keep the meeting running smoothly. He had excellent customer service skills and was a pleasure to work with throughout the event planning and execution. We had many guests with dietary restrictions, and the hotel's chef and kitchen staff were able to accommodate us with vegan and gluten free meals, which wasn't easy to come by in France. I would definitely recommend the Atelier H (in Novotel Paris les Halles) for business meetings in Paris.
Overall our event was a success (thanks again to Guillaume) and the hotel accommodations were great. The front desk staff and concierge were also very friendly and helpful, and the location was very convenient for walking to major sites and getting on public transit. I hope to have another stay at the hotel soon.

with very good location and very accommodating and helpful hotel personnels!. The rooms are also very good but the toilet and shower area location is very odd. The shower area is just near the main room but the toilet location is behind the main door of our room.

Dear Basilio, Thank you for your lovely feedback. We are glad to read that you had a great stay among us. Indeed in the suite we've put the toilet area near the entrance, in order to keep it far from the room area. I hope this didn't disturb you during your stay. +1
We are from Thessaloniki, Greece and we chose the 45 sq. feet two bedroom suite for our visit to Paris.
The rooms are spacious, bright, with a huge corner window in the master bedroom that overlooks the gorgeous french roofs that stem Marguerit Sq. They are clean and well designed with a smart system of sliding doors that separate the master bedrooms’ way to the bathroom from the secondary space and vice versa, a very convenient way to feel comfortable in your room, especially if you are sharing it with your nephew as I did.
The bed was very comfortable, note that I have serious back pain issues and every morning I woke up feeling great.
They change the towels every day and the pillowcases by demand. The suite has Molton Brown products for showering etc.
The staff was very helpful and polite, especially in the dining area. You must try the hotels’ breakfast, its a value for money choice, everything is delicious and fresh. I think I’ve noticed five or six counters with different breakfast menus. Their baguettes, croissants and crepes are exceptional.
On top of all, the best that this hotel has to offer is its location. The neighbourhood is full of small cafes, patisseries and multinational bars & restaurants. The atmosphere is happy and welcoming as you can walk on pebble stone paths without worrying about cars passing by. Although the hotel is in near everything, it is very quiet during the night.
Rivoli Ave. where you can take a taxi to other parts of the city, is a 2 min walk. We payed about 15 - 20 euros for taxi transfer to Eiffel Tower, Or Basilique Sacr Coer in Montmartre, Le Ciel Montparnasse etc.
Pompidou Centre is a 5 min walk. The Louvre is a 12-15 min walk. The Seine is 7 min walk. Saint Chapelle is 15 min walk and you can walk another 15 min from there and reach Museum D’Orsey. So you actually have half the the things worth seeing in Paris in walking distance.
The hotels’ entrance is right in front of a metro line elevator, you can take the RER line from the airport and walk straight into Novotel Paris Les Halles. I wouldn’t recommend it though, because the train from the airport is extremely crowded, there’s no room for suitcases and the people are not willing to even move aside so as you can walk out of it. I would recommend you bought a taxi from and to the airport, its 60 euros worth spending.
In the overall I was very glad I chose Novotel Paris Les Halles for our stay in Paris and I would recommend it to anyone who thinks that the hotel is not only for sleeping but it is part of your trip and a pivotal part of your journey. It’s a value for money experience.

We have visited the Novotel Les Halles for the 3rd time and even though the rates were incredible (EUR 300+), we like the hotel for its location (everything is closeby), quality furnishings and staff. We were upgraded from a Classic room to an Executive which was nicely refurbished even though the key elements (queen bed, walk in shower) remain exactly the same. But the Molton Brown shower gel is a nice gesture, as is the Nespresso coffee machine and the room key made from wood (ESG). The gym is small but well equiped and staff at reception are smiling and efficient. We did not go for breakfast as I think EUR 24 is a bit expensive and there are plenty of options nearby. Although corona and the cold limits the 'partying' element near the hotel, I would still suggest to ask for a room overlooking the inner courtyard.

I do kit is usually write reviews, but with this hotel stay I had to. We stayed here 3 nights as part of a multi-city UK/Fran e family trip with our 2 kids this past June. First off, the location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. It was our first time in Paris and the access to one of the main metro stations was key…it is right out front from the lobby doors. From this location we east went to Montemarte and the Eiffel Tower area via metro. It is also within walking distance of St Germaine district and the Louvre. Do yourself a favor and get the breakfast buffet. It was very well appointed and had great food…we ate there every morning as it opens at 7:00. The rooms are super clean and quite spacious with the sofa bed up. By the way, the bed and even the sofa bed are very comfortable. The bathrooms are modern and overhead waterfall-type shower heads are a nice touch after a day of Paris sites. The staff was SUPER friendly and helpful with directions and even let us use their house phone to call the airlines as the airline lost a piece of luggage. They let me use the house phone for over 30 minutes…that would have cost me a fortune on my international cellular plan. The only drawback is that the bottled waters are not free, but no big deal. There is a nice little bar/restaurant right outside the lobby doors that is open late and we would get to-go drinks to take up to the room when we needed refreshments. If we ever go to Paris again, we will DEFINITELY stay here! Great stay!!

My Family's stay in Novotel Paris Les Halles was an unforgettable experience. From the very helpful Carine/ Dhumajel(hopefully I remembered it right) and Carina. Room was spotless and everything that you can expect from a well oiled top notch team. Even though the city was experiencing transport strike, due to it perfect location and insightful staff, we were able to go where we want to go from the Louvre to Palace of Versailles. The best part for me - Breakfast - I can only sum it up with one word "Magnifique" - that is after visiting hotels from London to Rome. Thank you and do hope to see you all again very soon.

First time to Paris and were very pleased with Novotel Paris Les Halles. Wanted a hotel that was convenient for sights, but also had a nice Paris vibe outside it's doors. This place ended up checking all the boxes for us. First it's more of a modern hotel, not a boutique hotel feel, so if you are really wanting that, this won't be the place for you. However, the hotel was great for us. Rooms were good size for Paris, we had a king bed and a nice walk in shower. Great lobby bar and a decent workout facility. It is literally a 20 second walk from the front door to the Les Halles metro station that serves both the metro and the RER. Just beyond the hotel you will find lots of cafes and shops where you can just sit outside and enjoy the world going by or do some shopping. Hotel staff were extremely friendly, especially the front desk staff. We don't speak French and that wasn't a problem at all. The Front desk person who checked us in, went out of her way to show us a map and talk about where things were in the city and make some recommendations. Outstanding! and our room was ready for us when we checked in early (around 10 am) which made it nice to be able to freshen up after a long over night flight from the States. Will stay here again.

Great location and easy access once we had worked out which Metro exit to take. The hotel is very nice and the rooms are pleasant with one draw back...there is no fridge!! We wanted to keep some things cool in the August heat and asked at the bar for a bucket of ice. They said they could not give me an ice bucket and that there was ice on every floor. I explained that there was nothing to put it in so they gave me a small dessert bowl. I asked if there was anything larger and they said no. I said then I will have to use the rubbish bin in the room and the barman said "yes use the rubbish bin". Seriously this is most unsatisfactory let alone unhygienic. Please put fridges in the room or provide a large ice bucket in each room.
I am an Accor platinum member and it would make me hesitate to stay again.

Cannot recommend this place enough. The location was fantastic, very close to many places to visit, eat and drink on foot and by a station that connected with everything we wanted to get to in Paris.
It was a special week for us so asked for champagne and macaroons to be in the room for when we arrived. Our flights were delayed and missed a connection, but kept in touch with the team and everything was ready for when we arrived.
Our welcome was fantastic when they found out where we had travelled from and even got a quick lesson in Arabic! Pierre-Yves checked up on us a couple of times during the week to make sure we were having a good time.
Breakfast was good for all the family (though someone kept nicking our boiled eggs)... The childrens room was also a hit as the kids wanted to go back to the hotelt o finish their games and gave us an hour to relax in the bar before going to bed.
All in all, no complaints and would definitely make this our base in Paris when we return. Hopefully won't be so long next time!
