The Hotel Beaumarchais is ideally situated in the heart of Paris. It lies between the historic neighborhood of the Marais with its museums, and the typically Parisian atmosphere of bars and restaurants of Rue Oberkampf. You will be welcomed by a warm atmosphere where the contemporary setting harkens of a distinctly southern style. A flowery patio welcomes you for breakfast. The 31 rooms feel fresh and gay.

An overview of what I liked/disliked for those who find it helpful. Great staff at this hotel. Every one of them is so cheerful, relaxed, and helpful. Special shout-out to Akli at the reception for being especially friendly and invested in your well-being. This hotel feels like a family-run place and not like a corporate hotel. I arrived at 8:30 in the morning and they checked me in right away despite it being many hours before check-in time. The main “lobby” area is cute and charming with plenty of space to relax on comfortable chairs or couches with decorative pillows. There is also a lovely outdoor patio. Breakfast was delicious with an impressive array of foods, but it's expensive depending on what you eat (21 euro a day). If you just have a cappuccino and croissant for breakfast, walk a few steps outside and go somewhere else. Speaking of location, this was an AMAZING location. It takes less than a minute to walk to the closest train station. There are tons of great restaurants and bars in the area. My room was very small, but that is common in Paris. It was a really tiny room and tiny bathroom. To give you an idea of the size, we were 2 people with a total of 1 check-in suitcase and 1 carry-on suitcase and there would not have been room for any more. If one person needed to go to the bathroom, the other person would need to get up from the small table and tuck the chair in. I describe this in detail in case it is helpful to anyone reading. The beds were surprisingly SO comfortable!! They did a great job with those. The rooms were also immaculately clean. Wi-Fi was fantastic and reliable the entire time too. My only criticism is the “spa” part: You get a free 50-minute time slot for the spa downstairs so I reserved a slot. All it is is a room the size of a large closet with a soaking pool/hot tub that is not hot at all. More like warm. There is also a shower. The space could use some decor to feel like a spa as it is really just a bare room. It was nice to have but not needed in my opinion. If you're looking for an actual spa, this isn't it.

We stayed 3 nights in this brand new hotel. Fresh, clean and high quality finishing more akin to a five star hotel with the most comfortable bed and high quality duvet, pillows and linens . The rooms are extremely small with little natural light provided by internal light shaft. After politely complaining about the room size, we were moved to the room size photographed on Expedia. The rooms are extremely clean thanks to new decoration and wooden floors.. The customer service is excellent, the staff are very friendly and helpful. There are a few teething challenges with the newness of the hotel (lift didn’t work one day and wall lamp, bedside lamp flickered on/off and in-wardrobe light had kind of its own). But I am sure these will be fixed in months to come. Beeping from elevator not welcome and acoustically not very well deadened (can occasionally hear activity in neighbouring room). Bar does not open regularly and breakfast area at front of hotel more for show as few stay and little atmosphere.
I would recommend this hotel and think once they have fixed these small teething problems, this will become a must-stay hotel as it neighbours a fun thriving area.

This is a great boutique hotel in the heart of a very local / non-touristy area of Paris - lots of shops, restaurants, and cafes around. The hotel is very clean and well decorated, and the staff is very warm and helpful. We chose the smallest of the rooms available, which was quite small - so I may opt for the slightly larger next time around. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were turned down every night. Overall, it was an excellent stay!

The hotel and service from the staff at this small but perfectly sized hotel on the doorstep of Le Marais was exceptional. Admittedly our room was on the small size but it was well furnished and cleaned on a daily basis to a high standard, a comfy bed and adequate clothes storage space for a short break to Paris hit the spot with us, the breakfast and bar service were also of a high standard. The spa hammam was an added bonus which we made full use of with a complimentary 1 hour slot on our booking out day, which at 12 noon puts other hotels to shame. Next time we are in Paris we will back at this fabulous little bolt hole in the perfect spot.

What I fabulous hotel! I had a three night stay in a single room on the 3rd floor (4th for Americans). I have stayed in many single hotel rooms in Europe, but this was by far the best. The staff persons were friendly, the room was comfortable and quiet, the Wi-Fi worked well, the shower was good, and the price was very reasonable.

The location is a little far from the major tourist attractions, but the Metro (subway) is just around the corner. You can also be in the heart of the Marais district with a short walk.

I'd highly recommend this hotel for a single traveler.

Great small hotel in neighborhood location in Paris. I loved how fresh and new everything was and how tastefully decorated. This hotel was a great value considering the price of hotels in Paris. Metro is very close by and easy to navigate. It was hot during our stay and the A/C cooled well also. A couple of things to note: we chose one of the larger rooms and it is still fairly small. I’d recommend choosing a larger room if you are concerned about space. This area is not as close to major tourist sites but is beautiful and has incredible dining in the surrounds. Would definitely stay here again.

This is an excellent boutique hotel in a very non-touristy part of Paris. You are only 30-minute walk to the river and the nearest Metro is only 5 minutes' walk (if that) away. Even though I arrived early the staff were very helpful, check in was easy and when I returned later my suitcase was already in my room. I had the small "cosy" room which for one person for one night was perfect. The room overlooked the courtyard so I could open the window for some air. The hotel is very clean and well decorated, the beds were very comfortable, which was, after a long flight, just what needed. The bar area downstairs was comfortable and while the food options were limited there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby.

We visited Paris and stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as a special 18th birthday treat for my daughter. I booked a double room for ourselves and a single room for my daughter. The double was on the small side but adequate for a short weekend break. The rooms were spotlessly clean and fresh and the location remarkably quiet given its pretty central location. My only criticism was that it was lacking a hairdryer. My daughters room however had a small wardrobe, safe and a hairdryer. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A nice addition was the complimentary 50 minute spa session. Breakfast was continental and adequate, slightly lacking in gluten free choices so had to have plain scrambled eggs, yogurt and fruit. The bar was not open during our visit so we ventured to the bar on the opposite corner for pre-dinner drinks and that was fine. On the whole a lovely small hotel that we would certainly recommend and hope to return again in the future.
