My family and I stayed during the weekend of le Bal (debutante ball), and were most impressed by the intimate atmosphere and personal service. It felt like being at a house party (albeit a very grand one). After check in, the staff recognised you and greeted you by name. The Service Center is particularly impressive and helpful. Through WhatsApp, all requests were promptly met (eg, changes in restaurant reservations, late check out etc) and all questions answered. It is a seamless and efficient way of communication that should set an example for all 5 star establishments. We had good meals at la Bauhinia and Shang Palace (the latter being outstanding) and full breakfasts delivered to the suite (up to 12 noon - again an example that other hotels should follow). The family suite we stayed in was spacious, well decorated and faultless. The hotel is a perfect blend of Asian hospitality and western aesthetics, and an unbeatable combination of grandeur and intimacy. It is a true credit to the Shangri-la brand. …

Great Location. Within walking proximity of the Tower Eiffel Gustavo. A Bonaparte residence well maintained in its grandeur. Shangri-La hospitality topnotch a touch above the rest. We had a view of the Eiffel tower and it was the best city room we ever had and we had a lot! Everything was 7*, not one single detail wrong, staff absolutely lovely (although not sure if not overworked??), food out of this world, everything felt easy and sexy and just right. Despite bad weather, a lovely receptionist managed to help us figure out what to do/to keep dry and we were so looking forward to come back to our room every day as it felt like an oasis in the middle of busy Paris. All facilities were just perfect too.

Growing up in Germany and having visited France many times it had been a while since I had come to Paris. Now I was coming as an adult and in the warmer time of the year late October and was able to have another type of experience. I didn’t do the normal tourist things as I had come to vet a property. Receiving Staff – This property is where I started my vetting journey in Europe, and I must say Shangri-La Paris set the bar and it was high. The receiving staff was beyond reproach with their kindness and assistance. The check-in process was very smooth as the area you are received in is breathtaking. I was taken around to be introduced to several of the common areas including dining and the lounge. Room Configuration – My room was amazing to say the least. Very spacious with many great amenities including a spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower, the beautiful garden, and the Sein River. The bedding was very comfortable. Turndown Service – I loved the fact that there were 2 daily room refreshers, and you can choose the time these services are done. Breakfast – The service at breakfast was great and consistent. I liked the variety of items that included a hot menu along with the fresh food on the buffet. I could have stayed there all day. Hotel Location – PERFECT. I was able to walk to the Arc de Triumph as well as stroll the Champs Elysees not far from the Eifel Tower. This made this so easy. All the high-end stores were also within walking distance. This is definitely my hotel of choice for my travel clients when they visit Paris. …

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary here. The hotel is breathtaking. But the staff is truly what we valued most! They are so attentive and make sure everything is perfect for you. They helped us with free upgrades, had a surprise welcome gift in our room for our anniversary and gave us amazing recommendations. From the moment you walk in you’ll feel like you’re in a movie. The design was exquisite, the cleanliness impeccable, the rooms spacious and luxurious, and the staff's service and attitude were exceptional. From the reception to the concierge, doormen, and housekeeping, everyone was outstanding. The hotel's location was serene yet conveniently close to everything I needed. My suite was not only large but also flawlessly maintained by the housekeeping team. The breakfast room service was a delightful culinary experience, and the beds were unbelievably comfortable. I genuinely felt like royalty during my stay! The Shangri-La Paris is unquestionably a perfect 10/10, and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable stay!

This is hands down the best property I have ever stayed in. Eiffel Tower views from your room and within a quick 10 min walk. The concierge will go above and beyond. That’s what got my fingers moving to write a review. I never leave reviews. Good or bad. Anyway, I left the property 2 days ago and was having trouble finding a train from Dunkerque to Amsterdam. I decided I would give the Shangri- La a call, even though I already checked out, to see if they could help. I called and explained my situation… can’t find a ticket, not even a guest there anymore, can you please help?? Sure enough they were happy to oblige. After a 5 min wait on hold, the concierge gets back on the phone with multiple options and offers to email me whichever ticket I pick. I couldn’t recommend the Shangri-La Paris enough.
