We stayed at the Hotel d'Aubusson from 26 to 28 July to celebrate a special birthday. Everything was first class - spacious room, complementary champagne and an excellent recommendation from the concierge for a special dinner. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, breakfast was good and we enjoyed having a drink in the courtyard. We would stay there again.

I spent a lot of time researching Paris hotels for a recent visit with my wife. After much searching I found this one and was not disappointed. I dont need to comment on location as everyone has said, it is great and walking distance to anything an everything althouhg it was disappointing to find the RER station a block from...

This was a great hotel in a great location. The hotel is in an old building with an updated classic character. Our room was adequate - but not much of a view. The bathroom was nicely updated and had a great shower. There was a beautiful courtyard with tables and chairs where you can get a drink or a snack....

We recently completed a six day stay with our two adult children and had a very positive experience. The staff always had a "can do attitude" and were very good about dinner recommendations plus directions. The food for breakfast was delicious and the wait staff very professional. We would certainly stay here on our next visit and strongly recommend this...

We walked pretty much everywhere from this lovely little Left Bank Hotel just two blocks from the Seine. The neighborhood was quiet, and yet full of wonderful restaurants and brasseries. We had adjoining/connecting rooms with beautiful exposed beam ceilings and really comfortable beds. The bathrooms were marvelous and our view was also lovely. The only complaint I have is the...

We stayed at the Hotel D’Aubusson for 4 nights in early July. The hotel was really lovely. We have read some reviews that it is getting a bit dated but did not find that at all. The rooms are really lovely and quite large by Paris standards and the bathrooms are very modern and spacious. We had 2 interconnecting rooms...

My wife and I completed a four night stay at this Latin Quarter hotel. It has a very convenient location on Rue Dauphin just a block from the Seine and a short walk to several Metro stops (Odeon and St. Michel). Also, there are many shops, bistros, cafes, etc. in the vicinity. I would definitely stay in this area again....

I stayed for three nights in a 300 euros-+-per-night deluxe room (number 510). There were several very good things about the room. It faced over the rooftops at the back of the street, meaning I got no street noise at all and the room was peaceful and almost silent. The air conditioning (which I'd enquired about beforehand, as I can't...

I'm not sure exactly what it was that made me feel vaguely disappointed in the Hotel d'Aubusson. From a positive perspective, the staff were excellent and very friendly. They went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The jazz in the adjacent cafe was great and enjoyable. Our room was large, but not well-appointed. The wallpaper...

We were traveling with our 10 year old grandson and found a room with a loft, perfect for the three of us. The staff could not have been more helpful. The concierges' restaurant recommendations and other helpful hints enhanced our stay. The hotel is well located near the river and Metro stations. The included breakfasts were excellent as was the...

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
