Years ago, the Right Bank was the place to stay. Now, Le Rive Gauche! In my opinion.
And the Hotel d'Aubusson is perfectly located. Turn right outside the front door and in a block and a half you are on Le Pont Neuf. Halfway across...More
Hotel d’Aubusson is perfectly situated 3 minutes from the Seine in the Saint Germain area. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms large and well appointed with large bath. The staff is friendly and helpful, there are great drinks and Jazz in the bar, and...More

As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this
area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.

A heavier trench coat and layers should serve you well. If you think you need something a little warmer check out the packable down coats from Uniqlo. You can roll them up and pack them away without taking up too much room.
