The Hotel de la rue de Lille invites you to discover the Left Bank, its lifestyle, its history. A neighborhood of writers, singers and artists, the Saint Germain des Prés district, whith its caves and its unconventionality. A lifestyle, that of the Faubourg Saint Germain, with its old families dear to Proust. A history, that of the bi-millennial Left Bank marked in every stone. The Hotel de la rue de Lille, fully renovated, is one of those places where people like to settle down like at home, or better, as a VIP guest in an exceptional place. The rooms are all different. Designed by JL Bras, architect and designer, they have been renovated to the most modern standards, with warm materials and integrated libraries.

Detailed Reviews
Bijou Hotel in excellent location for many of the main attractions. Situated in an area with a good choice of restaurants. Reception staff are particularly pleasant and helpful. As others have said, the double room is small but there are suites available if you want more space. Very quiet and comfortable. Mini bar and coffee maker in the room with coffee pods provided but no milk. No opportunity to make tea.
Freshly squeezed orange juice was served at breakfast and a good coffee making machine was available. The Breakfast room was attractive and kept very clean and tidy.
There were only sweet items and bread included in the continental breakfast although for 4 euros extra there was ham and cheese available. This seems unnecessary. The ham and cheese could be included to make a perfect breakfast at very little extra cost to the establishment.

I spent two wonderful nights in Hotel de Lille. I wish it had been longer. The hotel itself is very chic and modern and is on a quiet street near Musee d’Orsay.
I had room #11, a Deluxe Double room. The room, larger than most tiny Paris hotel rooms, had a front “entry” room with a sitting area, desk, tv, and my own Nespresso machine! Built in book shelves shared a whole wall of the bedroom with the closet, mini bar, and another tv. The room was big enough for a king bed with beautiful white linens.
The bathroom was a couple of lighted steps down. The toilet area was separated from the sink by a glass door. The shower was just past the toilet, also separated by another glass door. The amenities were nice and the white towels big and thick.
I did not have the breakfast at the hotel. I was on the first floor (second floor American) which was accessible by elevator or stairs. The front desk staff was very pleasant and accommodating.
Next time I’m in Paris with my husband, I hope to stay at Hotel de Lille. He is a “hotel snob” and I know he would love this hotel.

Stayed for four nights as a couple to celebrate my wife's special birthday.
The hotel is in a fantastic location very close to Musee d'Orsay and Le Louvre, and within easy walking distance of lots of great restaurants.
Inside, it has a quirky design as a result of a very old building being updated, and it is meticulously maintained and clean; the loo in the foyer even has scented candles!
The only downside to the hotel for us was the relatively small room though this common to most central Paris hotels, especially those with a real French feel to them.
The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, but really excelled when we were leaving and had problems with our Uber. They checked local taxi firms to see if any would be quicker and talked with our Uber driver to give him the best route to get to the hotel. One member of staff who had finished work refused to leave until she had seen us safely in the taxi!

We recently visited Paris and stayed at this fabulous hotel for 6 nights. First thing is the location – it is close to EVERYTHING (8 mins walking to either Solferino or Rue du Bac Metro station), Saint Germain de Pres area, Carrousel de Louvre, D’Orsay museum and more. Our experience (my wife’s and mine) started when we went to drop off our luggage because it was well before check-in time. We were greeted by Eduardo and that is when our WOW experience began. He was so understanding of our schedule (flew for 10 hrs) so he did everything to make us feel comfortable. He gave us recommendations on where to eat (he was spot on), where to go around the hotel, safety tips that I haven’t heard before (and I have traveled a lot). Every day either when we left the hotel or came back, he greeted us with a smile, and we always engaged in conversations on what we did, or what we were going to do. He was/is such a gentleman and very polite. As a matter of fact, all personnel we engaged with were very polite and made sure we knew they were there for us. Theresa was extraordinary as well. I apologize to the others that I didn’t catch their names. 5 stars is not enough to rate our experience. The hotel itself was cozy, super clean and modern, with sparks of French charm. The bed was very comfy, which is essential after walking 15k to 20k steps a day. If I could change one thing is the size of the room and bathroom. They could have been bigger, then again, its Europe – where spacious rooms are not the norm. Merci to Hotel de Lille, for such a memorable and wonderful stay. Gracias Eduardo por tus atenciones!!

We stayed in the junior suite which was spacious enough. Breakfast area is wonderful, however breakfast itself could have more variety for the price you pay. Beds were very comfortable, bathroom had all the amenities. The elevator is very small and we had a small incident which made me feel uncomfortable. Walking distance from Musée d orsay and the louvre. 5 minutes from the Hotel are 3 restaurants where we had amazing dinner: les antiquaires, la bonne excuse and les climats. Staff was very kind.

Fantastic location, excellent and helpful staff, and the room was phenomenal. Located literally across the Seine from the Louvre and next to the Orsay Museum, the location would be hard to beat. Loved the bathroom, but room was the perfect solution for solo travel.

Perfect location for our week-long visit. The rooms are very small so if you’re staying for more than a couple of nights def consider the junior suite which gives you an anteroom with a little desk and small sofa seat so you can spread out. All the staff was extremely helpful with taxis, airport transfer, room service (hot tea for my husband’s cold, an ice bucket and glasses for wine). The best secret might be the 20E bfast buffet which was absolutely delicious! Different hams, several cheeses, bread, croissants of various kinds plus other pastry, boiled eggs you can make yourself, cereals, yogurts, smoked salmon, nuts, fruits, olives, salad greens too! Nifty coffee machine for endless different cups with milk or without, espresso and freshly squeezed juice. We’re back to oatmeal here at home and already miss this sweet petit hotel.

We very much enjoyed this quaint hotel! The friendly and helpful staff added to the overall charm of this boutique experience. The rooms are perfectly sized for a couple and thoughtfully curated to bring awareness to interesting French personalities (ours was Albert Camus). The neighborhood surrounding Hotel de Lille was delightfully filled with boutiques and antiques. Museums and monuments were completely walkable. We highly recommend this terrific property!

My partner and I had an excellent stay at Hotel de Lille. It is a 6 minute walk from the Louvre and Musee d'Orsay and is in a perfect location for grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, bars, and sights. The room was extremely clean and cozy, and the staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay.

Turn right out of the hotel, walk down the street to the plaza in front of the Musée d'Orsay, and down the ramp to the RER station. Take the RER C 3-minute ride to Saint-Michel / Notre Dame and change there to the RER B to Aeroport Charles De Gaulle (there are path markings on the ground at Saint-Michel station to make the connection, down a couple sets of stairs/escalators). Check your airline -- there are two stops at CDG. CDG-2 is the end of the line.
