We Booked on the strength of tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed. We stayed for one night only, on arrival we met a very friendly member of staff who told us we had been upgraded! Our room was large (for Paris) had an excellent king size bed, great shower and lovely view of the canal. It was very trendily decorated...

We stayed for 2 nights and from arrival when we were given a cup of tea/coffee in the eating area to when we picked up our bags after a day's sightseeing before we left Paris, every member of staff we met treated us as valued guests and were friendly and helpful. Our canal facing room was quiet and we enjoyed...

I saw Le citizen ranked high on tripadvisor and decided to stay there. I read quite a bit on Canal St. Martin and wanted to experience it first hand. NOTE: if that's your first time in Paris and you are staying for a short time, I would not recommend the location, because it is rather remote, so you'll spend quite...

When we arrived we were greeted by Laure and thus began our wonderful experience at Le Citizen Hotel. While the room was small, everything was efficiently laid out and comfortable, especially the bed. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful that the extra few minutes it took to organize our things were quickly forgotten. After a very restful night,...

We spent 3 nights here. This exquisite place is like home away from home. We arrived at noon time, located the address. It was on small but busy street. The door was tight shut. We rang the door bell. A gentleman in black rimmed glasses answered the door with a warm “bonjour” and big smile. A couple steps up, we...

We stayed in the hotel for one night last week. The service was outstanding. We checked in early at 1pm and the friendly staff immediately brought tea to our room to welcome us. Our city room has great views over the canal and was modern and well-equipped. It was immaculately clean. We were also given an ipad to use during...

We were very pleased with our stay at the Citizen and would return, although we'd probably stay in a cheaper room. The best thing about the hotel is the superb staff, who are earnest and eager to help you. In our experience, such service is relatively uncommon in Paris! Our room (a more expensive Zen suite) was spacious and thoughtfully...
