An excellent accommodation in a newly flourishing area of the city. Modern, very clean, very helpful staff, and great breakfasts. Not at all stuffy -- everything about the place made you feel young and sprightly. We will return.

This was our first trip to Paris and I can honestly say that Sophie's staff at Le Citizen Hotel, made our stay here memorable. All of them were always smiling and willing to help in any way. I wished I had gotten their names. We reserved the Citizen Apt, which was on the 6th floor and it was superb. Loved...

We are a party of five (three adults, two children under 10 years) who found it difficult to find a hotel that could provide a single room/suite for us. We were referred to the Le Citizen Hotel by the owner, who also had a number of apartments available through VRBO. We were only staying for 2 nights so we were...

My third stay at this really good hotel. Comfortable rooms, extremely helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast, with free snacks during the day and free minibar. Right next to the Canal St Martin. Can't recommend it too highly.

Before our trip we looked (on Trip Advisor) for a room near Canal St. Martin. We couldn't have found a better location. The hotel is located right next to the canal and all twelve rooms have a view of the lock located right across the street. We bought a Navigo pass for unlimited use of the Paris Metro for the...

The people working at this hotel were wonderful. But the room layout was not good. Very small which is not unusual, but no convenient place to put luggage and clothing. There was a narrow hall about 2m long next to the window (like the letter b) that wasn't useful for anything. Bathroom was tiny. Very little movable space around the...

Dear Kent, Thank you for your feedback. I understand that the room could be small for you. We will be pleased to welcome you in another room for your next Parisian trip. Our zen suite is much bigger that our city room. We hope that you had a nice trip back. Kind regards, Ilyas

I cannot believe that I have not reviewed Le Citizen. I thought that I had, but when TripAdvisor suggested I start my review, I realised that I had, in fact neglected to do my duty, and tell the world what a perfect place Le Citizen is. We stayed at Le Citizen in autumn, 2014. It sounds like a long time...

I come to Paris twice a year for work and have been staying at Le Citizen for a couple of years now. Great, modern hotel and aesthetic, fab location and most of all the friendliest and most helpful staff! Free beer and snacks in the mini bar seal the deal! I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

I enjoyed a wonderful January 2016 return visit to Paris and Le Citizen after an absence of 2 years. The hotel remains largely, thankfully unchanged. Paris itself however has experienced much tragedy, what with the Charlie Hebdo attack one year ago this month, and the November 13, 2015 attacks as well, many in the 10th and 11th arrondissements, some just...
