Comfortable, very clean well located (close to metro stations, places to eat, cafe/pubs) , cute and helpful/friendly staff. The shower was good. Only bad note, the room was slightly smaller than on the photos. We paid around 160 for saturday to Monday.

We chose the hotel because of proximity to Gare de Lyon. It was just a one night stay. The front desk staff were polite and we didn't have to wait to check in or out. We did not have the hotel breakfast preferring to grab a croissant at a bakery. Our room (a standard double) was an acceptable size for the price, was quiet and was facing the rear courtyard. The bed was comfortable and there were biscuits (cookies), tea bags, long-life milk and a kettle, and a safe for valuable. WiFi worked well enough. The bathroom was frustrating to use for several reasons. Some of them could have been resolved with some simple maintenance. - the toilet seat was loose. - the shower head kept falling down. The only way to stop this was to hold it continually while showering. - the wall mounted hairdryer was falling apart. - shower controller / bath tap was the old style where you have to juggle the separate hot and cold taps to avoid being scalded or chilled. I was quite surprised that a hotel would still use this type of tap instead of a modern shower mixer. - Small glass partition did not help much to stop the shower water from getting on the floor. Would I use this hotel again? I'm really not sure. If I knew that the bathrooms were better maintained then I would return.

I never, ever seen smaller room in my life, and , yes, I know European criterias are different, but this is unbelievable!! We couldn't open our suitcases, me and my husband couldn't pass by each other- one of us had to sit on the bed, while other one go to the bathroom, or coming the other way. Then, we got probably the worst room in the building- main floor, when I opened the window there was construction going on right under my window for almost all day. I find it very rude, inconsiderate of them , if they have contraction they shouldn't rent the room which is the most affected by noise. Never, ever again!!!

Firstly you are 'greeted' by a lady who would clearly rather not be there. Then you get to your room which is smaller than most bathrooms. The shower sprays more water on the toilet and floor than on you. The walls are paper thin, hope you don't have 'loud' neighbours. The breakfast advertises fresh fruit... Asked where it is and they said all gone... Really, three days in a row??? Only bonus is its relatively close to the train station-relatively. Don't recommend and won't be recommending.

We stayed at this hotel because we wanted to be close to the Gare de Lyon as we were going to Disneyland. The station is less than a 10 minute walk away which proved to be ideal with the train to disneyland going direct to this station. On our second day in Paris, we checked out at 12pm and decided to walk around instead of getting the metro. All of the main tourist attractions are easily accessible, we walked about 25 minutes to Notre Dame and made our way to the Arc de Triomphe all in all it took about 3 hours but we were able to see a lot more of Paris. The hotel itself was clean and provided a good base. We checked in around midnight and we were greeted by a man who didn’t seem pleased we were late. The lift is a maximum of four people and therefore it is very small and rickety. ‘The courtyard’ and ‘bar and lounge’ that are advertised are very small and breakfast was a extra charge we didn’t opt for. Our room was 106, this meant we looked out onto the street. The room itself was big enough, however there was some very strange decor. Bath was a little bit grubby and the bathroom itself was small but it did provide us with everything we needed. All in all, I would recommend this hotel as a base if you were wanting to be close to the station and if you didn’t mind travelling about 20-25 in to Paris. Special mention to Boulangerie versavelle petite classe which is a small bakery about 5 minutes away!
